Memorable mentions:
Bakery: The Bread Blue (best coffee cake), Halt (best matcha), Cafe Turtle (cakes are amazing), Panhonesta (bingsu!!), Overte Donut (cream donuts are so good!), Haemil Bakery (vegan bread!!!)
Korean food: Cow Tteokbokki (Mayo rice was amazing!), Osehgyehyang, Gachi Dining
Chinese food: Alt.a, Gawon, Camouflage
Western food: Nammi Lab, Loving Hut, Little Gangster, The Royal Food And Drink, Plant, Drunken Vegan

If you are vegan, I recommend Buddhist type temple food restaurant. In Korea, Buddhist monks eat vegetarian food for religious reasons. So, Buddhist vegetarian food has developed in Korea.

@teeconsigliano7631 i really liked Obuthan! They have temple food lunch sets but I've only had their dinner menu which I highly recommend! The dishes seem simple in theory but are so so good. I went with 3 non vegans who were all very impressed with their food!

I also recommend Moongoojeom bakery. Delicious raw vegan like desserts and the owner is adprable. Also great location to walk around.

As a German who also struggles in a meat dominated country, thank you so much for showing all the amazing food options! I'm vegetarian but I always look for vegan food bc I noticed that it usually tastes better from a place that specifically serves vegan and it's safer as well. Vegetarian food is always kinda a side option in restaurants. If you ever visit Hamburg, hmu and I can show you some amazing spots :)

@@deniseb.4656 Das ist ja witzig :D Ebenfalls schön hier jemanden aus Hamburg zu finden und definitiv! Besonders an der Sternschanze sind so viele tolle Vegane Restaurants und Läden, Kjeks, Kkoki loves vegan, Katers Köök etc. Hast du noch weitere Empfehlungen btw? ❤

Is it hard to find out if a dish is vegan in Korea if you don't speak the language well? Like knowing if they use butter or meat oils.

You can use translation cards if you don’t speak the language! You can easily find them on if you Google them. If not, you can find solely vegan restaurants.

The title literally says *vegan version*, the description is filled with the word ‘vegan’, my whole page is vegan, my channel description states ‘vegan’. And it’s 2024, anything you can think of there’s a vegan version of it.

@@bakeyvakey I dunno you man, there was always a chance of hypocrisy. If you're not, good on you. I personally don't see a reason to eat anything chicken flavored to be fair. If it even was, it wasn't too clear.
