The second place is called moonscape overlook or Skyline overlook. Utah 24, Factory Butte Rd, go about 6 miles, past Coal Mine Rd a little further and make a right onto Skyline View Rd and it’s another 2 miles to the Overlook.
What amazing landscapes! The red and the rock are just so stunning 🤩. We loved our tome there. It really is like a whole other world! Thanks for taking us along!
Wow this place is amazing! I drove my motorbike through Utah and it was just out of this world! Glad we found your channel, love connecting with fellow adventurers!
Heading to Capitol Reef next month (mid-March) and will def check MDRS. That's a bummer you didn't make it the Moonscape Overlook. It's on the same area where Factory Butte is on Skyline View Rd. I hope my hubby and I will find it. Thanks for sharing footages of the Bentonite Hills.
@@kasiawhotravels5318 I will be in Europe in May ❤️ if you guys are anywhere in the area of Portugal, Spain, Italy let me know 😁 my itinerary is still tentative but let’s keep in touch
The landscapes of Utah and the deserts of the US really do fascinate me completely! Its so unique, and it seems like such an amazing place to do some exploring! It must be such an amazing place to do some photography too! I love the footage you took my friend!
Hi there, thanks for checking out my video!!! And yesss I definitely agree, I wish I had a month to spend in Utah, there are sooooo many out of this world landscape in that state alone 😍 definitely a place to add on your bucketlist. Thank you!!!!!
Hi. Thank you for a fun video you made. I’m planning a trip there. I read that I need a high clearance vehicle to go to Bentonite Hills and I can’t find any for rent at the time i am going. You car doesn’t look like one. How was the drive off road with that car?
It was a bit tough because there were deep dips but thankfully it didn't rain prior or during our drive. It's a bit risky but we made it. I think as long as you don't go too far away you will be okay. We went just a bit past the MARS Research station :) maybe like 2 miles after
Thank you taking us along, we enjoy seeing the landscape. We keep planning a trip to Utah and rescheduling, hopefully we can make there soon. Also, your photos look amazing!
Omggg!!! you definitely need to visit! I wanna go bak so baaaad!!! So many more places I want to see... btw, make sure you download offline google maps of Utah, some areas has really bad signal and it's in the middle of nowhere and gas as much as you can, some areas have very few gas stations and a looong empty road
I was surprised you didn't fly the drone at swing arm. That would have been cool. Bentonite Hills was awesome. I have to go their. Wow, nice drone shots. Mars on earth, I'll have to look for it. I drive through Utah going to Wyoming often and I'm always looking for something new. Nice video👍Like 16
yeah unfortunately my drone was acting up at Swing Arm City, I was bummed out, that's why I wanna go back to get some banging drone shots! haha oh wow, yeah Utah has so much to offer, check out Goblin Valley, that one is very unique as well! Thank you so much for checking out my video
Hi Girl! Love your video! Were you able to climb the hills around the MARS Research station? I'd love to but I thought it wasn't allowed... Just checking in with you! Also loved your drone shots, I literally just bought my drone for this specific trip so super excited. I def need to learn how to use it tho, which flying features were you using while shooting?
Hi girly!!! Yes i did climbed lol there was no one there and no signs that we weren't allowed to, so we just did ☺ it was fun! In regards to drone use, i have the old Mavic Air at that time and there wasn't much features in it yet haha and honestly i didn't practice enough that's why the videos are kindy bumpy 😅 but if you have a newer drone, use the smart features to where the drone itself would control the direction of the fly, I would have done it like that 😁
@@JessaWanders ah thank you!! And yes, def will try all the smart features! I’m so excited to learn and then visit all of these amazing places! Thanks for your response and the video 💘💘
@@oktofred I'm sure you will do great! Trust me it took me forever and tons if research writing my scriot haha english is not my 1st language and it's soooooo hard to translate my Filipino thoughts in english haha
@@JessaWanders Thank you! Is there a road name sign on the corner of where you turn from the paved road to get onto the dirt road that takes you to Bentonite Hills?
@@JohnTussey You are welcome!!! and no, I actually searched for The Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS), you can start seeing colored Hills on the way there, but I just kept driving past MDRS and found more Bentonite Hills and took some shots there.
@@melissamaldonado3242 girl!!!!! Same here!! I soooo wanna stargaze there!!! Imagine the amount of stars you can see?😍 I don’t think it’s allowed to camp there though, but they didn’t say anything about driving at night there hahaha
