My first policy was almost 4K down my 2nd I think 2k my last $1k down. Really varies though credit driving history zip code age equipment etc etc.

Quick question for you bro isn't that GVRW information incorrect I believe anything over 10000 pounds for the trailer is gonna require A CD L please correct me if I'm wrong and thanks for the info you did put out

No. The 10,000 lb rule applies to a class B CDL. With a CLASS B CDL you can drive a single unit non combination vehicle with a GVWR greater than 26k or combination with a trailer that has less than 10k GVWR. For example your truck with a class B could be 30k GVWR & Trailer 10k GVWR If your trailer were to be greater than 10k you would require a Class A With a Class A it’s any combination over 26k So like a 14k truck and a 15k trailer needs a CDL A or a 11k truck and 16k trailer or a 20k truck and 10k trailer. Any combination that is greater than 26,001

I have kind of a odd question. Is it possible to do this type of work while working on your own time? I was looking for a career where I can take vacations but something like this seems like you still have a lot of responsibility with companies is that correct?

The type of work he is doing does not require you work for a company. This is a per load type of business. You can log onto load boards and plan each trip yourself or pay a broker/dispatcher to plan loads for you.

Well, you answered my question on how you get out of the car once you are fully inside the trailer. I mean you can squeeze between the car and the inside of the trailer using blankets to protect the car's paint and body panels. Thanks for the post! Respect.

Those blankets will scratch the paint if they aren't made from microfiber. Hence the aprons, I think they are wearing microfiber aprons - which shows they know how to take care of car paint.

Depends on the truck and trailer you choose each brand of truck and trailers have different GVWRs. I did a video on it bout a month ago that may help. Personal advice get your CDL

It’s an exotic hotshot business it’s an exotic hotshot set up obviously every car we haul won’t be a foreign sport’s car but more often than not it is. There are other videos on this channel with exotics even more on our Instagram.
