My dad and I watched the Mandalorian together all the way through. He’s seen the original Star Wars trilogy, but he didn’t remember it as much. So this was perfect to give him a refresher on who Boba Fett was before we started watching the Book of Boba. Thank you so much.
the clone wars series episode cancellation also reverts the *official* lore of boba fetts dented helmet back to the cloned stormtrooper theory. as his ship is coated in bescar, the only thing able to dent his helmet would be the airlock to his own ship. for those unaware. the original story behind the dented helmet wasnt a cad bane shot. it was jango fett not having the best visibility in his own helmet, and would periodically bang his head. given that his helmet was 'mandalorian iron' (now referred to as bescar), his head was still always protected. given that jango fett was the base for all clones, clones would inherit this flaw as they are all identical biological copies of him and will have the same visibility issues. this has been mentioned in previous series as closes would bang their heads in the same place. finally (and ironically, where this whole thing came from), some of the younger clones, still growing at an accellerated rate, had matured by the time the galactic republic became the empire, and became stormtroopers. one of which is confirmed to be the same stormtrooper that bangs his head in the escape scene in a new hope. later referenced in episode 2, attack of the clones, where when jango fett attempts to enter his ship when fleeing obiwan kanobi, he bangs his head in the same place on his ships airlock door, thus denting the helmet.
an unaltered clone that not only turns out to be a different gender... but also speaks fluent kiwi accent?? what kind of sorcery/force witchery is this!
