He has to be. Jango his own father told him that he would be even better than himself on Episode 2. Jango gave Obi Wan Kenobi one heck of a fight on Episode 2. I just don't see Boba Fett dying that easily like he supposedly did on Episode 6 Return Of The Jedi.
@dizz hizz In clone wars it says its Unclear how his fathers or his fathers father acquired the armor since non of his family was a real mandolorian or was born on mandalor
He has to be alive. His own father Jango even told him on Episode 2 that he would be even better than he was. There is no way that Boba Fett died that easily if he was suppose to be even better than his own father Jango was. Jango gave Obi Wan Kenobi one heck of a fight on Episode 2.
@@kutayardasahin lmao wtf no he didn't he jumped out the building, if you don't see a body he isn't died. Samuel l jackson has said on a livestream jedis can survive such falls and he wants to be brought back into the star wars universe again
@Guillermo Herrera you seem to be forgetting the simple fact that Din Djarin is a mandalorian. An Actual Mandalorian, not a clone of one, albeit experienced, but boba is still not Mandalorian. But playing from your angle for a sec. Even with Boba's experience at this current point in the game, Din Djarin will not completely lose as someone would probably be assisting him and rescue him at the right moment. Neither would die. Either way both are badass characters. And If not because he's actually Mandalorian, then because of his story and his characteristics, I am team Mando.. all day erday..
So it isn’t “finally revealed” you basically just made us sit through a synopsis of the entirety of the first six Star Wars movie and then said “but he might be alive I guess that’s up to you?”
Boba is worth money to Disney. There is no way he’s not coming back. Edit: to all y’all dummy’s who can’t read I was saying he had to make a come back because he’s worth money to the mouse.
You have to also take into account that it’s a “force” not to be reckoned with. (Pun intended). With any remake, spinoff, or sequel the new director has to make sure that they get EVERYTHING right. A lot of movies could easily be remade with the new technology we have, but filmmakers have to take before releasing. Sure, they could make millions off of a new revamped Jaws, but are they getting everything right? Will they make a 10/10 replicate that doesn’t offend or disappoint the audience? It’s scary stuff man. They can’t just “poof” and add a character back into a whole story.
@@coregarbage1141 🤔 (IMO) everything you wrote makes sense - both rationally and intuitively - but (unfortunately) you describe Hollywood's *past* philosophy, not the current situation. Movie reboots/remakes that egregiously disregard the considerations within your post are becoming more and more commonplace, and Disney is leading the assault. I take it you haven't watched The Last Jedi nor Rise of Skywalker? TLJ breaks the SW Universe (Holdo maneuver, hyperspace tracking, bombers, Force Projection teleportation/telekinesis [Han's 🎲], Force mastery sans training, Force vacuum suit). RoS took the baton (wrecking ball) and kept swinging. Too many things to comprehensively list, so let's pick Emperor survival, force healing, force telekinesis/teleportation, hyperspace "skipping" It could be totally out of character for Disney to allow things like precedent, respect for the past, continuity, or basic decency get in the way of profit.
No, I haven’t watched the new star wars trilogy. And yes, I agree with what you’re saying and you’re complete right. But a character like Boba Fett isn’t a money grab. If you make some sort of movie and/or show about a canon character you can’t just throw just anything on a 70mm film and call it a day. There’s backlash to that sort of thing. I’m sure Disney definitely could, but I highly doubt their staff is that moronic to bring back an icon of a character and disregard the audience’s reaction. As much as an icon he was- there isn’t any need for them to bring him back when they have shows like Mandalorian whereas they create lookalikes for (a lot of the time) the sole purpose of money grab.
@@coregarbage1141 I think we've had a small miscommunication. I wasn't calling Boba Fett "himself" a cash grab. I was predicting that if/when Disney defecates out a Boba Fett movie, that hypothetical film would be a cash grab. Re: they don't have to/won't do it: They've already done essentially the same thing. I guess you haven't seen *Solo* either?
In the canon comics, his armor is taken by a law enforcer and used to protect a settlement on Tatooine. The armor itself was found out of the sarlacc pit. So Fett is alive. I think the mysterious figure is Cobb Vanth, the aforementioned lawman.
I highly doubt that. Dave filoni even said himself that boba being in the series would take all the attention off the Mandalorian (Yeah before you tell me, I know he’s in season 2. this comment was 7 months ago lol)
Yeah think of all the merchandise. I mean Baby Yoda is already dope, everyone finds him cute. Boba could be the link to the OG Star Wars Trilogy fans. Mando itself with his shiny armor represents Jango more or less and is the link to the prequel fans in my opinion.
BOBA is definitely gonna return soon! Who knows when but he will, Jon and Dave love Boba so much. He will make an appearance in the show within the next few seasons
I may be wrong, but wouldn't the mandalorian timeline (yoda is 50 yrs old / but still an toddler because he ages slow) predate Boba Fett by a few hundred years?
@@shivlisinghvaish2615 Yeah, all the references to "baby yoda" I just assumed the timeline. Recently watched Season 1 and someone referred to it as "she". Thanks.
Boba Fett has been in hundreds of battles as a bounty hunter, there’s no way he would be killed that easily. Besides, the Jawas only found the armor and not the helmet nor the body it was on. I believe/hope the figure at the end of The Mandolorian is Boba Fett after all a person does change their clothes.
thunderfeet the sarlacc doesn’t dissolve it’s victims. It digests them slowly over a thousand years. Plus boba fetts armor would have protected him for a little while anyway.
If Boba does return hopefully it is returned into canon that he is or was a Mandalorian. George Lucas, post-prequels insisted Boba and Jango were NOT Mandalorians only wore Mandalorian armour.. George Lucas became such an ass after the success of Star Wars, became all about the money and didn't give a shit about canon.
I can remember seeing the original Star Wars as a kid at the last drive in theater in my town when it first came out but the new movies have broken my heart but the Mandalorian has given me hope again with bringing back Boba Fett and now Luke Skywalker.
I think that if you were to make a movie titled Fett that starts weeks before the kenobi encounter and ends in the early empire era it would be awesome but also at the end there could be a post credit seen where it zooms in on the sarlac pit and all of a sudden a hand shoots out.this obviously wouldnt work with the boba in mandalorian s2 but it could lead to a season 3 cameo
I’ve been saying this for a long time. Fetts needs a Spotlight of his own. He is a Star Wars legend with little Spotlight. It’s time to make him even more famous. Long live Fett.
I never knew who Boba Fett was. He came in to the movie and quickly and almost effortlessly was killed. Didn't come off like a badass. Just another trooper there for target practice.
Hello, I come from the future. And just want to tell y'all that his story continues from where it left in the movie, in fact he has his own web series now.
DarthXenon 03 yes. It’s a thousand years in to the future. The camera pans down to the in sides of the Sarlacc pit. There stuck in the wall is an almost completely dissolved body in armour. He breather his last pitiful breath and finally he dies. Fade to black.
I really wanted that rumored Boba Fett/Bounty Hunter underworld movie that was scheduled to be the third Anthology Film. And to this day, I never understood why the actor playing Captain Typho was shown as Jango Fett’s clones during the Kamino scenes over Temura Morrison himself.
A good video, thanks Looper. Very helpful. I'm glad Boba Fett's character has been resurected, as he was so badly treated in Return of the Jedi. He looked so cool in Empire Strikes Back, but then he's virtually ignored in the next one, with a clumsy, undignified "death".
Man, you can see Boba alive in the very last scene of that part observing Din from a top of a sand dune while Din travels on a speeder. And you ask do we think he's alive? And btw, The Marshal's armor was Bobba's i think since he bought it from Javas...
Fun fact: in the unfinished episodes of season 7 the clone wars, Boba Fett actually kills cad bane. Also that most likely how he got that dent on his helmet.
BC Brando Just because George gets 4 Billion for his creation that others have made a universe of it. A new mouse comes by and says it’s all not true believe everything I tell you even though I know nothing about your universe I’m rewriting it does not make it CANNON. But we could go on and on and even get mean SO LETS JUST AGREE TO DISAGREE and call it done
When I was a wee lad and watching Star Wars back in the early 90’s and first saw Bobba Fett, I was like who the hell is that guy??? And I instantly became a fan!
There were three other books written the first being released June 1998 by K W Jeter called the Bounty Hunter Wars. These books told of Dengar rescuing Boba Fett after the Sarlacc Pit beginning the bounty hunter wars.
R Vog Yeah right, like I’m gonna waste my time waiting two years for some “reimagined” version. No thanks. The Star Wars books are great and Hollywood will NEVER duplicate them properly. Watch Solo or Rise of Skywalker and tell me they getting it right. They’re NOT!
Your title is inadequate. Should edit to: The Entire Boba Fett Story so Far You can't very well say it's his entire story if you start using phrases like "he may have survived" and "this suggests."
@@liamanderson1621 so for some reason, it won't allow me to correct you, correcting me. SMH. Though, I'm starting to think you misspelled it intentionally...
Happy to see this, i was so disappointed when i saw his death i mean we got so much backstory and so much screen time of him and then he just died by unexpectedly falling in some random scenario
You forgot to include the canon comics and the radio static beep at the end of that mando episode which boba has only ever had and the story group said he’s neither alive or dead
Guess everyone’s here now from the mandalorian episode 8 from season 2? post Credit scene? Glad they’re doing the book of boba justice after all these years if your a Boba fan December 2021 is to long away!!!!!!
You can find it in the lost episodes on youtube. The animation isn't finished yet but it was season 7 of The Clone Wars before Disney bought Lucasfilms and ended TCW replacing it with stupid Star Wars Rebels. The existing progress on season 7 was scrapped even though there was already voice over and everything. I really don't know why it took them so long to release season 7 on Disney +, but I think they altered a lot of stuff.
@@kakashikage9483 it also showed how Boba got his famous dent on his helmet because during the duel Cad Bane shot Boba on his helmet at the same time Boba shot Cad Bane on the head but due to Bobas helmet he lived while Bane was killed
Zombie Knight Dang!! That’s awesome! Wish Cad didn’t die, but at least they used an awesome character for the reason he had the dent in his helmet instead of some random person.
