Lower rolls will always favor the 392 especially if you hook and book. The higher rolls are where the Coyote and that ten speed transmission gets ya. I've raced mustangs several times and it's the only the ten speeds that give me issues. Get a 1320 Challenger on a tire and it's not even close.
@techboys100 I almost got one but they are entirely useless unless your going to the track. They have no benefit over a regular scat other than trans break and suspension. Which sucks for the road
I put bus lengths on bolt on scats in my 06 Chrysler SRT8 that's FBO, ported manifold, hellcat injectors and throttle body with a custom E85 tune. The only Scat I've come across that was equally as fast was a 1320 edition. Those things move out for sure.
Id's like to see it from a dig.. But great video.... Those GT 10 speeds are the best roll race cars out there for the money.. An ESS kit and you are faster than most anything else on the road.. Oh and you can tell the dude in Scat was shifting his but off.. Nice Job.. Save the manuals..
Yeah we were wondering that too... The 6.1 did say he was too high on rpms on a few runs against the 10 speed then it just shifted right at the start. Appreciate you stopping by!
It's because the 5.0 had a passenger when racing the scat, then the scat had the passenger when racing the 300. Passenger does make a big difference. The fastest car here all things equal is the Mustang, then scat, then 300.
Idk man. I'd bet the manual with a driver mod is faster than the average scat. Based off of 60-130 times I've seen.. it's very possible that's all the 5.0 had.
The Mustang 10 speed falls a little on its face once it hits 7th gear. They short shift from 6th into 7th on the stock tuning. The scat pack was at the top of the rev range in 4th which is why it creeped up, then he had to shift into 5th, falling out of the scats powerband because that's a long gear for the manuals.
Yeah I could feel that shift in the mustang and could tell it was an early shift then saw the scat creeping. None the less, I was still surprised from the manual scat.
@@cormaro13only reason 5.0 beating them is 10speed and weigh about 3,800.A 2015 scatpack weighs 4,082 and still keeping up and can win.The 6.1L(srt8) got less hp than all 3 at 425hp,stang got 460-480hp & Scatpack got 485hp

I knew rhe mustatng would be fastest of the 3.i wws rooting for the 6.1 car vs the scatpack thoigh. I used to have an inferno red 2006 charger srt8. Had an intale and a 75-100 shot Zex nitrous system on it.
That’s crazy too see I have both cars but my scat is an 8 speed and my 5.0 is a base with the 10 speed and 3.15 gears witch are better from a roll then the 3.55 but my 5.0 walks my scat easily
