Im buying a convertible mustang gt and im going to put some long tube headers and borla exhaust....i think 50 percent of the reason i want the car is to piss off the neighbors and scare pedestrians from crossing in front of me. And i just love the sound and the car itself but the engine is what sold me on a s650
@@Adrian5oh yeah I don't want to order one but I will make day trips to other areas and dealerships till I find the one I want. I always tell the salesman that I'm broke and just looking till I see what I want so I don't waste time at dealerships
One reason I'm never moving to California. Here in Georgia cops care more about tint than exhuast noise lol. I'm catless headers, x pipe and no mufflers. It's loud loud, haven't been pulled over for exhaust once, only for windshield tint smh.
I've heard the race series and it's pretty loud lol. This is partially why I went with the street series by MBRP. Still has initial loud cold starts, but less drone inside my car, sounds plenty loud when I open her up, and not obnoxious when cruising or at low revs.

I have headers so it’ll be louder I’m sure and the cars also getting supercharged this week! I’m on stock exhaust rn since I got pulled over cuz I had the Mbrp race series with headers it was stuuupid loud lol
I have this same exhaust pro series on my GT and never get slack from the cops for being too loud and I rip it everywhere. The thing I like about this exhaust tho is the coke bottle resonators to make it quiet when gentle on the gas. Still couldn’t pay me enough to live in cali tho😆
Used to have a 5.3 truck full straight pipe cat delete it sounded good and I stepped on it one day and an under cover cop stopped me and I asked him “is it too loud” and he said no and now with my stock 2020 I know that will be louder cause it’ll rev higher but I’m stuck between roush or steeda axle back with the H pipe but the mbrp race is always in the back of my head smh and then there’s corsa extreme with the valves but 2k smh

Damn that’s a shame that exhaust sounds wicked!!! At least you get to enjoy it for a little bit. I daily my car like this headers, x-pipe, muffler delete and thankfully they don’t care in Florida or I’d be getting pulled over left and right 🤣

Appreciate the exhaust clip but man, why did you turn it on if you knew he was there? You mentioned him turning around and look at you the moment it powered on. Funny thing is hes not taking you to take it off but to get an active exhaust to tone it down when a cop isnt around? lol
He was on the street pulling over a truck and I had already started the car when I saw him look over but I noticed he was in the middle of pulling over that truck so I didn’t think he’d stop doing that to come after me but he did 🤣🤣 and nah I got a ticket and had to take it off I’m on stock exhaust now with headers but I’m supercharged now too just did a resonator delete gone post new sound clips soon!
Great video. Think I finally decided I wanna get MBRP over Borla Atak, just trying to figure out race or street series. I'm looking for a good, solid low growl like pure muscle car lol. I'm leaning towards the mbrp race series tho. Does it crackle and pop much between shifts and deceleration?
The Mbrp race will give u that sound ur looking for, these cars don’t pop that much tbh it’ll do it on cold starts a little bit but then it goes away when it’s warmed up
Did you have to go to a state reff for a decibel test?? I got a exhaust ticket last month for the factory active exhaust and when I got tested the state reff said it had to be tested in track mode and now I have to go to court and fight it. It was all factory ford exhaust on the car. Was just running e-85 and PMAS
Damn that sounds like a hassle bro, luckily mine was a fix it i just removed it and put the stock exhaust on went to my local PD and they signed off on it he just had me start it and that’s it
