This has to be the most cinematic battle we seen in a while. Although I love Nurgle the most Tzeentch aesthetics can't be beat

I don't plan on getting this DLC until a substantial sale, but I have to hand it to the talented guys and gals in the CA art, sound and animation team who put the work in bringing these hideous creatures to life, and seeing the sync-animations between two brawling kaiju-tier beasties is always a treat.

The animations for Aekold are sick. Bruh thinks he's a Dark Souls/Elden Ring boss with those movements.

I wasn't expecting the vortex beast to have all those aoe abilities AND jacked combat stats, but this one was the RoR. I have to watch Zerkovich's video and see what the stats for the normal ones are. Still, its scary to consider the slaughterbrute is gonna be same but get even better melee stats given its gonna be a khorne unit.

I really love the Chaos domains. I wish in campaign when its at 100% corruption it would drag the fights into the Chaos Realm to see them more often. This would be really lovely to see. Or at least give us the option to drag the enemy into the realm or not.

Hey just a quick question Indy, I don't need like a super breakdown but on a scale of 1 to 10 how "power creep"y is this DLC? I am not happy with the price, and I am wondering if I should worry about getting smashed in MP by people that have it going forward. Then again that happens a lot anyways as I am not very good. Nice battle btw.

9:57 stats in that fight dont matter aeson is stuning and interupting with every atack not even giving a chance to counter atack . seems pretty overpowered vs large targets if thats how that works vs all big monsters

Did anyone else notice when the Chosen died, even when their whole upper bodies were pulped, their models never let go of their shields and swords? I've been having that problem in my game recently and did not know it was in others' games due to my mod use.

Im sure that Khorne is hitting himself over the fact that Tzeencht got the dude called Hellbrass

Starting at 6:55, the K'dai Destroyer keeps doing this three-blast fireball attack over and over again, but the fireballs all hit completely empty ground, since all the units it's fighting are behind it when it does the animation. Do you know whether that's just an animation, and it's still actually doing damage, or are those actually damaging fireballs that are just completely missing, causing the K'dai to do literally no damage for long swathes of time due to poor targetting?

Pretty sure Aeson doesn't actually have a mortis engine. Might be a bug since without it he's just a worse version of the generic one, but the active he has seems a lot weaker and appears to replace the mortis proper.

Bruh, Aeson RoR has the bad mortis, the regular mutalith has the Ku'gath level one Aekold is amazing though!

This is why you don’t sent every unit in at once against heroes. Save a few in reserve so you don’t hand your opponent a massive blob of free kills on a silver platter.

Do we know if the Beastmen can use their marked units yet? In either MP or campaign.

Really hope CA look into giving the Tzaangors a little more Tzeentchian aesthetics. At the least their axes need changing to look less generic and more like that of a Tzeentch army.

I do find things like the Mutalith Vortex Beast and Infernal Gateway funny on these Realms of Chaos maps. How do you open a portal to the Realms of Chaos when you're already in them? Do they just suck you to a different part of the RoC?

This my sound wierd but, The Vortex beast is such a beauty, I 'll get the DLC just for him.

I won't deny that Aekold has some cool animations that looks great against hordes of units...I just really dislike all these flashy animations when you send him against other lords and heroes because what used to look cool looks incredibly stupid when he's up against, like Sigvald or Tyrion in a duel. I wish characters had matched animations the same way they gave some to giant SEMs

I feel like a unit of blunderbusses would have made a significant difference here

What do you think are the best new units for each faction in multiplayer? Also I say Warriors of Chaos got Tzaangors. That seems silly to me, I feel like that should be just Tzeentch and Beastmen.

i really feel like empire warrior priest should get a buff to have anti infantry attacks or some healing on allies in there area or something, the warrior priest hit like wet noodles in this, i find goblins more of a threat.

Last time watching this channel. I love your videos and also understand this is your source of income, but the love I had for CA and its products has turned into sheer fucking hatred. Please take a look at Larian's Baldur's Gate 3. Maybe at some point the honeymoon period will wear off but I haven't had this much fun and sense of WONDER with a game in over a decade. It's worth every penny and deserves even more attention. A change, a real change has to happen with these money-grubbing parasites that are AAA gaming companies and Larian is setting the bar high, it will only benefit us players.

Dang CA really did pull out all the stops for the new character/unit aminations in the new dlc. If it wasn't for the fact that it's going to be buggy AF (as always), it might be worth the price. Always buggy on launch, CA's always gotta stay consistent 😂.

Im sorry but the dwarf leader Astergoth has GOT to be the single most BROKEN OVER POWERED SINGLE entity ingame, he nearly 1v1'd the RoR vortex beast by himself and killed it.....wtf!?

If you really want to mean something to your community, you will grow some balls and take a stance. Stop promoting their overpriced, content lacking DLC, and by extension, justifying their greed and their latest statement. In which they try to hold their community hostage, basically threatening to pull support if we don't buy their DLC and expect a pat on their back for the vague promise of bug fixes that have been in the game for 4 months (or for some, SINCE GAME 1). The worst that could happen is they don't send you cdkeys for free any more. In which case, you've joined the other 99.9% of their playerbase, welcome. Best case? The big voices in this community really take a stance and we finally get this backwards thinking company to listen and heed their customers.
