Yo, your game play is always interesting, your opinions are always substantial, and your commentary/breakdowns flow naturally every single time. But you get the subscribe because of your personality. I just put Starrix in my Sultai Mutate and yeah, I flooded the board quickly. Additionally, with an essence symbiote in play all the creatures with mutate will get counters and ya gain some life.

I watched this video and built the deck. This is the first time ever I built a deck by somebody else's design. I wanted that after playing it that I added in a card I think should be in the deck. Boneyard Lurker works nicely with Pollywog Symbiote. Though it was worth mentioning. Thanks for all the content!

I've decked myself with starrix before but I actually like it because usually people quit before that but when it happens your so satisfied with how well it worked your not mad about loosing and you feel like congratulating the person for sticking it out

Awesome deck! I switched the Apex for the chittering Harvester and can really recommend that. If you mutate Harvester and the Dirge Bat on your hexproof druid... thats one crazy killing machine. Scoops incoming

i came up with two very similar fairly succesful lists but, only in simic: By adding 2 great henges, i managed to have my ENTIRE deck on the board in turn 5. the other version consits exclusively of uncommons + umori, therefor absolutely budget friendly and still very fun. .. optimal for my casual magic circle

I've been playing a similar Sultai mutate deck and whomping ass with it. Most people scoop (regardless of their life total) when Starrix goes off.

I have a similar type deck that I run except I have kayia's ghost form. I'm wondering why you dont have sea dasher octopus. Its probably the cheapest way to trigger mutate and can give card advantage.

One combo I’ve been using is Teferi’s Time Twist on a creature that’s mutated a bunch. Brings all the creatures back separately with +1/+1 counters on em.

thats interesting. i came up with a more revival focused mutate deck in abzan. lots of revival with necropanther, boneyard lurker and nethroi as well as a ton of deathtouch. works very well because opponents dont even want to attack you

wouldn't Umori trigger still when Hushbringer is on the field because it says "as it enters", meaning it does depend on hitting the field, as opposed to "when it enters"?? The way it's worded implies that it stops triggered ETB effects

Ive been crushing with an izzet discard deck running ominous seas with rial the everwise and goblin electromancer, its so busted playing cathardic reunion for 1 red and drawing 5 cards.
