Hello Duck Hunt enthusiasts to my second Ultimate Duck Hunt montage! I upped the amount of clips and now I have an even longer Duck Hunt montage! If you are curious just how wild a Duck Hunt player can play, then sit back and watch!

I've seen some pretty big brain stuff from Duck Hunt players, but spiking the can to go deeper than you could recover from and pick up that KO was a first. And smooth as all hell too.

I've recently picked up duck hunt as a secondary after solo maining joker , this video was in my recommended and man... I have a long way to go until I can do 1/4th of this stuff. Really enjoyed the video , you're amazing!

I'm a duck hunt player but the only can trick I discovered was can, dash and immediate up-smash so you can confuse your opponent while doing a bit more safe up-smash, and you can mix-up this by pressing B again how many times you want. It's also possible to put the can on a platform and do this, obviously.

I swear people are sleeping on Duck Hunt. Setting up traps with the Clay Pigeon and Can is actually really easy (the clay pigeon actually acts sort of like C4 when it hits the ground for a little bit before disappearing), and his smashes are all really strong disjoints. The only things that aren't super great are his areals, and even then, most trappers don't focus on air play anyway (Pac-Man being an exception)

Just found this video and it's so freaking good! I'm a struggling Duck Hunt main myself who finally hit the 5M GSP mark after struggling to move forward from the 3M mark. I'm trying my best to create two different play styles because I know that other players will begin to notice how DH works and best them. I hope that one day I can bring my boys to the elites as I really want to surpass other DH mains like Ratio and even you. Keep up the great work and I hope one day I can go against you in ditto's.

I just found this channel and I decided to test out your Duck Hunt tech videos from Smash 4 and it turns out that they still work in Smash Ultimate so thank you for teaching me tech that I myself would have never even thought of when using Duck Hunt :-)

Oh there is definitely more duck hunt tech for smash 4 that I made. But I realized when I posted them that only a handful of people were going to use them since they had maybe 30 views each for a very long yime. So I only posted them onto my twitter. And I post them on RU-vid upon request. There is alot of the tech that make a good reference for smash Ultimate, but Im happy they found use to you.

Ok.....ok. Like, I do these same things. But I never go this far with it. I know you can chain clay pigeon on the heavies but this is some next level stuff. Not to mention the physics with the can. Will it always fly after a smash attack? I've obviously been thinking too conservative. I was just glad enough to make them dodge where I want them. Maybe it's cause I play online. I don't get to see too many duckhunts. I just know Raito and the other guy from the states. This is so refreshing to see, even if it's a year old.

I'm a duck hunt main and you are really good, better than me actually. I'm always hopping between 2-4.5m gsp. How do you chain the clay pigeons? Also spiking the can and getting a stock is such a good feeling.

wombat tabmow it takes alot of practice. But you land one pigeon and depending on how far you need to run. You need to delay the pigeon explosion so you can buffer a run. If it’s very close. You have to explode it immediately and buffer the jump and use clay pigeon immediately. I do the clay pigeon right as I leave the ground so I don’t lose any time if they try to escape. However, you have to guess where your opponent is going to go most times. Shorthop or full hop.

I think I actually played you in tournament once. It was one of those viral Reddit ones. I just remember getting bodied by a duck hunt with "White" in their name, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was you. Edit: I checked smash.gg and it was you

I play very rarely. Tournaments take a while to finish up so I don’t do them that often anymore. Also, playing Duck Hunt is too exhausting to play hours at a time. You have to always be on point, and your opportunities are limited. I’ve spent over 5 years playing Duck Hunt, if I’m not good by now. Oh man 😎

I wonder if you will ever see this reply, but duck hunt can store knockback of certain attacks in the can. So if you down smash can, it will save some of the knockback of that attack in the can so next time you hit it, it goes flying. Saving the dash attack knockback is one of the best knockbacks for can imo

N2ODZ sorry for late reply since my answer is somewhere already said. But the trick shot stores Knockback of attacks, you can tell if the can has stored KB if it hasn’t launched normally when attacked. If it uses can armor to armor through the attack KB than the attack will be stored. I stored F-smash last hit. And released the attack.

Joe Lawrence unfortunately, making a guide would take too long to make. There’s just way too many things to cover and I’m not sure I would be able to make a guide suitable for beginners because it would be 2 hours long.

It is called knockback storage. I stored Fsmash into the can. Then, I released the knockback with a jab.
