MV's blisteringly sexual Brutale 800 gets a host of revisions for 2016. We spanked the less brutal Brutale in Spain at the world press launch. More detailed dynamic impressions here - 44teeth.com/2016-mv-agusta-bru...
Time for my whine about a completely unimportant thing that drives me mad: why the heck don't the bike manufacturers make a digital dash with a higher refresh rate then like 2Hz? When I see a speedo going "94, 105, 123, 87" I go mental, it feels so cheap, Honda Civics had LCD speedos without lag 10 years ago.
Phelicitas Actually, now that I think of it, he's referring to the refresh rate of the speedometer. It's obvious that the display can do more thanks to the rev gauge, so it was definetly intentional, probably done for better readability
I have seen other reviewers (Adam Waheed of Motorcycle USA for instance) mention intense head shake and higher speed instability being a problem. Did you experience this on the Brutale? I love the look and sound of the F3 800/Brutale, but am scared of losing the stability and ease of riding offered by my SV650
You gits, I really want to have a go on this now, two questions fellas, turning circle? Awful or relaxed? release date? This year, early? Anyways keep up the good work, like the interview style review, really great way to get through the key points and thanks for not saying 'weapon' It must have been tempting, apparently it's impossible by some journalists...
You guys are simply the best motorcycle vloggers. F**k knows why you don't have a million plus subs- Thanks for the great entertainment. A TV company should really pick you up. You could be Motorcycling's Top Gear
Is there any significant updates on the F3 800 from 2015 to 2016? I am in the market and can get a new 2015 for a little over $2,000.00 cheaper. My plan is to keep it till the second year F4 platform is out so (im guessing 2018) I'm trying to take as small a loss on it as possible.
i have a 150cc naked bike Yamaha V-ixion and i want to upgrade cc... so should i get 250cc first or just straight up to 600cc? i need enlightment lol. And much love from your indonesian fans, keep up the good work! Thank you :3
It is a beautiful bike for sure :D always love there look minus the head light if they made it look more menacing I think it would set it off for sure :D....... I wonder if something break on the bike are parts expencive or hard to find? ........
Will 44 be brimming with exotica? Is there any chance of the more mundane likes of Honda CB650f appearing? Is there anything positive to say about hondas current range that isn't 10 grand +?
Will you guys do reviews on the Triumph Thruxton or Scrambler? I'm looking to get one when I turn 19 and I'd like to see what you think! Thanks, love the content
Motogeo has a great review on the scrambler. It convinced me to buy one. It's an absolutely lovely bike and a great, easy first bike. I've never rode a thruxton but I'd imagine it's just as lovely (apart from the 360 degree crank). Ride safe!
You guys are doing great! You are so much more entertaining and honest than MCN, motorcycle.com etc. You guys could be huge, just need some more momentum! I fucking love the site too, the way you guys write is just refreshing, so much more going with the times! Get on with the Merch mates! We want to throw money at you.
Please do a video on the newest Brutale! Is it worth even considering over a Street triple or MT-09. The brain says no. But the eyes and ears say yes! 😁
Enjoying These Interviews. I had a Job Interview Once For a Design Job And From the Second I sat Down My Potential Boss And I Talked About The BMW s1000rr Best Interview Ever :) This Totally Reminded Me Of That...
What a way to wake up. That bike sounds like a monster, and ironically I was also going to say that people who think Ducati are the most beautiful bikes have clearly never seen an MV...
Nice review chaps. It's a shame the dealer network is so crap, hopefully they can pick that up in the next few years. Now get on a review the bloody Tuono!!!
+govenmentassassin I have one near me, that also sells moto guzzi and has a couple of ebr's, got to see the dragster rr in White, then the dealer said come to the workshop and they had a black on aswell... Hands down best looking motorcycle maybe in history! but that's my opinion.
Hello boys, big fan! I'd love to see you guys recreate Top Gear's 'buy a banger for x amount of pounds' and then try get to a destination the fastest ... or race against public transport. I think with the two of you it could be comedy gold! Just an idea I thought i'd share
Always liked this one, well the family of it. Better than the dragster and any of their faired bikes, and that aftermarket exhaust sorts that part of it out a treat.
So, preliminaries out of the way: Good video, yay. Now to the nasty bit: Just like in your 'unmasking the Baron' vid (and perhaps others, I don't know yet) this vid finds you relaxing within the secret BaronCave, which I'm given to understand is your PROFESSIONAL office space, too. And you are a professional -- your video products are awesome, no clunky edits, no annoying background sound, no out of focus shots, etc. However, I find it hard to believe that you aren't annoyed as all get out by the various smudges on your wall, used as background behind the couch. Each of these recent videos had me wiping my monitor to remove the smudge, only to realize it's actually *your* backdrop, not my computer screen! Argh! Please fix! (LOL)Otherwise, rock on, my good Baron!
At 116hp it's a large enough amount of power that should be capable for any rider. Are they aiming this bike at the Triumph Street / Speed Triple riders? Seems like they're aiming at this popular area.
+RevvedUpBiker Agreed. I've been riding since childhood and commuting since my teens (I'm 42), and 116 at the wheel on a light bike is plenty to destroy corners like a fucking boss. If someone thinks they need more they're either sponsored or full of shit.
This LCD tach nonsense HAS to stop. Every company is jumping on board, and everyone that I know what actually has an opinion about them prefers analog. At the very least, they need to be readable. Tiny monochromatic bars aren't.
Never listened to a 44teeth video before, but as soon as i head the erection chat. I knew i was in the right place. Great tone and banter guys. Much appreciated at this tough time.
its a nervous bike and horrible around town, everything rattles allot. its also super uncomfortable but when it comes on cam everything just comes together in a really fantastic way. its nice at the track too. id get an aftermarket seat though lol and a radiator guard
felix pinto dam I hope the newer ones are abit smoother . Maybe fixed the rattleness 🤔🤔 I just think they are the sexiest things on two wheels . Will definitely have to test ride them . That or the street triple 765
What I don't like; why build an exotic bike that is meant to be exotic, call it "Brutale" and then make it more rideable and easy to handle. Isn't that what it shouldn't be? Doesn't that go against its character? Thats like fat free yoghourt, pointless.
I want to love this bike, so beautiful, but the thrashy sound it makes is a turn off. Exhaust sounds great, but the motor sounds like it resents working. Bike is perhaps a little TOO Italian. Guess I'll keep lusting after the street triple which sounds happier the more it revs.
