I've owned 2 mvs no issues. Had a BMW s1000r - engine blew at 1500miles. A new triumph speed triple 1050rs - gearbox problems 3-4 gear..... If you follow the mv service schedules and increase the frequency of fluid changes, keep them on a optimiser they're great bikes

I've never subscribed to the "Normal four cylinders are boring" thing. Good ones sound amazing.

Good to see you guys after a long time. Agusta looks menacing and sharp it's exhaust notes are like music to ears especially the petroheads .

woaahhh!...what a beauty!...great bike, great review, great background and superb riding from Don on the fantastic Helshoogte twisties with some classic knee down at the right corners, yep we could feel and hear his excitment!....just a pity that the high price tag keeps some us cash shy South African bike enthusiasts a little hesitant from buying it outright!

If someone asks why, they simply won’t get the emotion that comes with a ridiculous high end motorcycle. MV have got some stunners in their stable right now!!

By the gods, this bike is just gorgeous. Art on 2 wheels, and the performance is bonkers. Honestly, who cares about the price, you only live once.

It goes without saying that all MVs are things of beauty but the puzzling thing is that MV have got close to perfection with their 800s but still don't be able to crack it with their 1000s, read or watch any group test with the KTM Superduke, Aprilia Tuono , Ducati V4 streetfighter, BMW S1000R and Triumph Speed triple and the MV Brutale 1000 inevitably finishes last, they always comment on its beauty and rarity value but it still is always bottom of the pile.

The mirrors on your test bike were mounted the wrong way round (left vs right) that's why they stuck out like that. Excellent review nevertheless. 👍

MV Agusta makes phenominal bikes . Dont lsten ti haters who cry unreliable from a bad battery cable 25 years ago. I saw a gixxer squid cry unreliable after the 1000 brutal beat the gixer on the track by large margin . Then the Suzuki gsxr1000rr blew up engie lol

Hypernakeds start making sense only in a rev range band which is on the wrong side of the law. I reckon MV will end up selling less than 120 brutale’ annually world over, across all its trims, so it is a genuine exclusive.

Admittedly really a masterpiece, but in my opinion at a completely exorbitant price. This is not a picture for the living room it is a motorcycle to ride on. I would buy Aprilia, Ducati, ktm, and be left with money to upgrade another motorcycle.

Suddenly the Ducati SF V4 S sounds like a bargain.... also looking better....

Nowadays with emission controls strangling engines inline4s need vvt like BMW and Suzuki.

Well for me it was either a Mustang GT or a very fast expensive Italian bike so I choose the very fast expensive Italian bike instead. Is something else the acceleration is so scary brutal, very very very impressive. I mean let's put it this was my cousin's 427SC Cobra is not as fast.

Sorry but the whole if you have enough money to buy the most exotic version, then value is not a worry is a lie. I have superveloce serie oro 300/300 and it should have had ohlins suspension for the darn money. While beautiful i paid top dollar abd expect top components

R600k?! For a bike? I’m not that experience to prove whether this is worth it but rather buy yourself a flat and rent it out or something 🥺🙆🏾‍♂️🧐..if you have the cash though I reckon it will make an awesome collectors item alongside the other costly bikes in that segment..
