Standing Egg surprised us last summer with the song ‘Summer Night You and I’, making it to the top of the music ranking list, and this time they are back with a more mature and deep mini album [VOICE].
[VOICE] is the title song of this album, and it is a ballad song that gives us big impressions with the trendy and beautiful melody of Standing Egg that says that they will listen to ‘Wounds and pains that can’t be said’ around us, along with the grand scale. It is a song for the fans who have shown the same amount of love for the past 6 years. Egg #2 also breaks away from the image of singing only calm songs, showing us a powerful voice this time.

前作「夏の夜に私たちは」で、昨年の夏、国内の音源チャートを席巻して皆を驚かせた‘Standing Egg’が、より成熟した深い感性のニューミニアルバム『VOICE』で帰ってきた。
『VOICE』は、今回のアルバムのタイトル曲で、私たちの周りの‘言えない傷や痛み’に耳を傾けたいという歌詞と、Standing Egg特有の洗練された美しいメロディー、壮大なスケールが調和を成して大きな感動を披露するバラード曲。過去6年間、多くの愛と変わらない関心を送ってくれたファンに捧げる感謝と慰めの歌とも言える。エッグ2号もまた、いつも穏やかで甘い歌を歌いそうなイメージを果敢に捨て、切ないボーカルを聴かせてくれる。
전작 ‘여름밤에 우린’으로 지난 여름 국내 음원 차트를 올킬하며 모두를 놀라게 만든 스탠딩 에그가 더욱 성숙하고 깊은 감성의 새 미니 앨범 [VOICE]를 들고 돌아왔다.
[VOICE]는 이번 앨범의 타이틀곡으로 우리 주변의 ‘말 못 할 상처와 아픔들’에 귀를 기울이겠다는 가사와 스탠딩 에그 특유의 세련되면서도 아름다운 멜로디, 웅장한 스케일이 케미를 이루며 커다란 감동을 선사하는 발라드 곡이다. 지난 6년간 언제나 많은 사랑과 변치 않는 관심을 보내줬던 팬들에게 받치는 감사와 위로의 노래라고도 할 수 있다. 에그 2호 또한 언제나 잔잔하고 달콤한 노래만 부를 것 같다는 이미지를 과감히 부수고 호소력 넘치는 보컬을 들려준다.
