After contemplating it all summer long, I made the decision to list Thirsty Whale for sale as of September 1, 2023. I hate to do it...but I just don't need a boat of this size with two staterooms and two heads when I will be living in town. I will be replacing Thirsty Whale with another boat, something more like what I had before with Clifford, the Regal 2665. I alluded to this in another comment when you publicized your offer for sale and I saw the YW listing about the same time, but you should have no regrets about passing the torch of stewardship to another boater who will love Thirsty Whale. You either need dozens of hours on the meter per summer or bow thrusters to master docking a boat of this beam and length. Smart money with a crew of one maybe two downsizes as you hope to do.

Thanks for making your videos of Thirsty Whale. It motivated me to buy ours. Hated to hear about the life events that unfolded. I’ve had that journey and it sucked, right after I finished building our 5 seat family plane. Good luck on a quick sale!

@@WiscoBoater the family plane was a Velocity that I bought the kit from an estate auction. I also had built a Long Ez & 2 Quickie Q2’s and Steen Skybolt with my dad.

@@brettgerber795 That's awesome! My first choice before going with the RV was a Velocity SE FG back in 2005. I didn't have the appropriate shop space to do it tho, so went with aluminum construction. I also had Thatcher CX4 that I didn't quite complete, and then led the build of the EAA Zenith 750 when I worked there. Good stuff!😎
