...and while the Strider/Doom combination is incredible (like we saw in that round 3 comeback I think) I tend to forget his Sentinel and Doom are problems all within themselves.
The thing about that is Josh has the ability to OTK or create a far enough lead from one touch to basically make a comeback impossible. Cable wouldn’t be a very good pick vs Loc unless you’re at the level of like Sanford or Duc. Storm is a decent pick vs Strider but she’s not part of Josh’s main squad. A good Magneto can ruin any team lol
@@LazyReaper808 Locdown’s fuckin Strider with Doom’s assist is just flawless. His Strider is like Duc’s Spiral. I’ve never seen anyone uses Strider like Locdown does & that’s some gangsta ass shit lol 💯💯💯🤣🤣🤣
@@vegetaking1272 I've made the same comparison between Duc/Spiral and Loc/Strider! I've even asked to see that happen but I don't think it'll come around. Now, I would actually like to see those two monsters on one team. (That probably won't happen either lol.)
Decent strider aside from a few obvious input errors as he's a high execution character. Overall, just a level or two below the original O.G. creator of the Strider/Doom team--ClockW0rk who initially brought the team to the mainstream during the B5/Evo series back in the 2000's when the game was at it's peak in popularity and competitiveness.
@@joegoodman-xo7xj I got to play both and I feel like Locdown takes the cake right now haha, every member of his team is so deadly. Clock was the innovator but Loc took it a step further!
Honestly I think LocDown is the premier Strider player. He plays much more cold and calculating whereas Clockw0rk played more with heart. The setups LocDown does and his combos are just so fucking optimal lol
@@stackbundles2663 yeah, I hadn’t practiced them for some time and didn’t feel comfy going for them. Plus I had a diff Mindset with the sets being 2/3.

WHEN I SEE THE TEAM IM LIKE OH TEAM CLOCKWORK BUT WHEN I SEE YOU PLAY OH IT'S TEAM LOCDOWN LIKE LITTELRY (LOCKDOWN!). MUCH RESPECTS IM A FAN #1.
