Not the same mode at all. Ground War is still there but War is this linear objective mode that was introduced in CoD WW2. Only in WW2 it had three maps that were more intense, MW3's version is just boring.
You could do a lot of in defending the areas in WW2. Each mission (map) had a different goal as well, whether it was escorting multiple tanks at the same time, capturing and securing intel beyond enemy lines, or rescuing freedom fighters who were captured hostage. The Normandy one and the train one were the most fun to me.
I get the feeling that the devs adding zombies in MW3 shows how desperate they are in selling this game as they know it will more or less suck without it.
At least the war mode in ww2 had multiple maps (3 i think) with multiple objective zones and only one of the objectives would be escorting the tank. They literally added a bare bones version of it to make it seem like mw3 has more "content"
I honestly like war mode in this game but I see that it does get boring after playing the same map multiple time I just hope they add more maps but I kinda doubt it

Ah "War mod" I see, I remember in when Americans pushing payload to Berlin. I love how Activision recycle payload mode and managed to make it worse. Especially when they already done a decent job made a Rebirth island payload mode in Warzone, and it actually really fun to play.

No, he said he didn't in his Cold War vids, and I think in one of the WaW vids as well. He might play it, because he played WaW, or he might wait for the remaster that might come out in a year or two.
@@Nikoitsromanletsgobowling hopefully Microsoft delivers on that. I say them because if it was just Activision then I know it would never happen. They couldn't even make a MW2 multiplayer remaster and they gave us this instead (in 16 months btw).
Why did they release this game? It isn't a full game, for an indie team it would be awesome but this isn't from an indie team. Did they forget to press the add content button during all the planning meetings?
