@@cyka7705: It's closer to Galil or AK-12 than AN-94. Must be like old GTA cars, a mix of various to avoid copyright problems. Altough i don't see the problem. I mean, it's only a weapon, doesn't make the game unplayable.
@@navox4658they don't lmao have you seen the abominations IW has made. The MP5 was butchered. The IWI Tavor TS12 shotgun was made so it functioned completely different. The VHS-2 model is weird as fuck. The MP5SD is a cursed abomination. You mfs are IW shills man
@@guts-141nah, the tilted mag is mostly a design necessesity rather than a decision. The two shot burst is achieved through unique feeding, but there was no real way to fit the mag normally without overcomplicating the whole assembly even further
yeah it wasnt a idea to begin with it was a joke photoshop image that some random idiot on lunch break found on a website while tryna look up corn and then hes like "oh my goodness the boss is gonna love this one!"
In one of the execution moves, your character is supposed to do it with a shotgun, except its not modelled in, so your character just racks whatever 2 handed weapon they're carrying
Even black ops 2 which was released 11 years ago got the An-94 right, even the canted mag, though they made look slightly more futuristic (or modernized if you will)
@By-s yea i get what you mean just pointing out what kinds mags they were although modernized is probably the better term for it then futruistic given we have had those mags for longer than b02
It gets frustrating seeing people in animation / compilation and comparison videos compare this to the AN-94 because outside of the hyperburst feature, the model and sounds retain absolutely *nothing* from it. It's entirely fictional, the closest comparison is the in-universe Kastov 545, which is a Kalashnikov with it's own OC do not steel design choices.
Because it is ? On top of the hyperburst which is unique to the AN-94, the barrel profile and handguard are also very similar to the AN-94. SO yeah, it's frustrating to have this kind of monstrosity present in a game like COD which was faithful to IRL weapon designs until COD MW19 and CW before being neutered due to stupid CA compliance laws
@@paparazzy1000 Firstly, this is not a "compliance law" thing. The fact of the matter is that there is nothing here that's comparable to the AN-94 from a visual standpoint. A function of the weapon being "similar" does not automatically make it the same weapon, as clearly shown in the schematics for the AN-94 in this video. The KVK 545 cannot possibly utilize the same technology as the AN-94. If it doesn't look like an AN-94, and it clearly cannot function the same internally as an AN-94, it is therefor not the equivalent of an AN-94
@@Nazrat84 it is a compliance thing first and foremost where video games companies are not allowed to display real names and identifiable weapons to protect the youth, this is the same reason the weapons from MW19/CW who were accurate to a great degree were not reused for MW22 and onward since the law came into effect after their releases. Moreover, if we go by your logic the Fennec isn't trying to represent the Vector 45 due to the mag housing being too small to house the recoil compensation system. (Also you completely missed my point about the barrel and gas system arrangement and handguards who are clearly inspired from the AN94 despite the rest of the weapons being a mismatched combination of AK 400 series parts and fictional parts)
@@paparazzy1000 No, that is not true. The compliance law only applies to licensed iconography of real life fire arms. If the SVA 545 was supposed to be an AN-94, it would retain the likeness of it while also not technically being it as is the case with most of the fire arms in the game. There are fictional AN-94 in the series already, such as KVK 99m in Black Ops III and the ASM10 in Call of Duty Mobile. The SVA 545 is not the AN-94. It does not look like the AN-94, it's internals do not function like the AN-94.
Is very strange considering that they had the model for the actual AN in MW 2019 oh wait it was infinity ward that made that game? Of course sledgehammer fucked it up, they shouldn’t be allowed to make CoD games anymore they haven’t done a single good game in history and all they do is piggy back from infinity ward and Treyarch
I just know that Jonathan Ferguson Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum in the UK of which houses a collection of thousands of iconic weapons from throughout history is going to be PISSED, considering how unique a gun like the AN-94 is
when I first saw that things hyperburst I was really unsure if thats a gun Ive never seen before or if they just massacred the an94, turns out I was right in the end
Im so happy to see many also sharing the feeling with this abomination. they even had a prety decent AN-94 in MW2019 already so it baffles me as to why they just made this clumped up goofy ass looking thing.
You know what? I am perfectly happy headcannoning the fact that maybe the russians finally perfected the internals for a “hyperburst” weapon that doesn’t require a silly pulley system or whatever other vodka induced fever dream weapons design. It’s 2023 or whatever in the game world after all, they had decades to figure it out. That being said I still wouldn’t buy MW3.
Ever since the black ops 2 came out, its where the fictional weapons and names got recognized for the first time. I can't really expect them to model actual guns accurately and use their names anymore. Hell free to play games have more accurate models of guns and even using their brands. I guess I'm switching
F2P games aren't worried about litigation. I can expect that CoD is trying to make the guns look visually similar to the point that you can atleast look at it and say, that's suppose to be [x]. Hell, we already had the AN-94 from MW19 so it makes no sense for the SVA-545 to look the way it does. It would have been fine if they were at least trying to make it a unique gun but it's an AK-pattern with hyperburst chambered in 5.45 with an underbarrel gas block, just like the AN-94.
Tbh, Black Ops 2 still had a fairly accurate AN-94 with a canted mag, albeit having some tacticool stuffs glued on. But its still better than whatever this thing Sledgehammer excreted.
Oh my god, I thought this was just a gun I've never heard of or seen before. I initially thought it was supposed to be the AN-94, but there was absolutely no discerning characteristic that implied that so I assumed it wasn't one. Can't believe it was supposed to be the AN-94 and they just went their own way completely designing it
Mate at this point I am convinced they do this just so the devs have creative leeway to make gun attachments so each weapon has something to unlock for 55 levels of grinding. If it was 1 to 1 then it wouldn't work out like that.
They should’ve just reused the AN-94 tbh, especially considering the fact that in the same game this piece of shit is in, they brought back some weapons from MW19
The gun itself got "AK-400 treatment", so even if AN-94 is not discontinued the gun will made out off polymer as AK-12 in 2023. The weapon's gap may use for a future treatment to change a magazine (would not possible in real life, example some AK-12 on BF4). They could have make AN-94 futuristic like Black Ops 2 or MW2019 does tho', but their creativity says otherwise. Personally, the gun looks good. But the default handguard made the gun looks pale, and the iron sight doesn't look like made from Russia.
@@manender1020 there is an an94 5.56 x 45 conversion IRL, if you look it up you should be able to find it, but it isn’t very well documented. The original is chambered in 5.45 x 39, idk why I put 5.56.
@@RileyTheGhostThey were literally forced by Activision and sabotaged by Infinity Ward to make this game under a year. They wanted to pitch Advanced Warfare 2 but instead were told to work on a DLC of MW2, which then became a "full" game. I wouldn't really blame Sledgehammer for being dealt a bad card.
@@GrimHunter76 Same. I much rather Sledgehammer as a developper, same for Treyarch, they deliver when they work on what they really want to, take feedback and actually listens to the community, unlike Infinity Ward. I'd take AW2 over this and MW2 any time. Wish people would actually look past the pretty graphics and tacticool animations to realise that.
