Cool stuff dude, cool, clean car. Good to know you've had the car for a few years, I've had my 1997 NA Miata for almost two years now, and it feels like i've waited too long to put a video out with it on my other channel 😂 this video has me thinking about trying to run a reliable turbo setup on my car though, but i just got an OEM replacement clutch installed last year so I'm thinking it wouldn't be worth it at all as I'd have to change the clutch again. My car has been great though, simple, really just coilovers and an exhaust. Yours seems like a solid build too, rock on
Looks great, I didn’t notice any kind of intercooler. Does the small turbo keep things cool enough? Also I saw some pipe work off the turbo inlet 2 questions here was that a crank case breather return and where did you put the air filter, Radiator overflow area?
Yea the turbo is so small an intercooler is not needed. Air filter is about where the stock air box is. Radiator overflow is unmodified. Yea there is a crank case breather return.
@@NicksCarHistory damn expensive for that kit a 2zz drop in would have net you more horsepower i think 138 hp to 160 and 125 torque to 150 kinda weak =/
ya but I bought the 2zz for my old mr2 spyder and i spent like 5k on it with adapter crap and still needed more stuff, long story short I didnt have to equipment that I planned out for it and when i moved to new york from cali i had to cut my loses right in the middle of the project. vs the turbo would have been more "plug and play" friendly. You really need to have all the stars aligned and the equipment, people to help ect. to make this work. looking back id rather have spent almost the same amount and been good to go with more fun and spend less than half the day on it. @@Bangerboy985
