I have the 2011 Chevrolet Colorado with the 3.7 five-cylinder engine. I bought it in 2011 brand new and I love it! And, I too, have a CB Radio in it. I run the coax cable through one of the rear cabin vents (the thing that flaps open when you shut a door.). Fits perfect.
Great Post, TY... so straight pipes? no Cat Converter ? don't need one in NC please explain, I have 2005 WT that I'm currently working on. and what did the lift cost you?
At the time this video was made I had it straight piped, it did not have the second cat converter but still had the one just off of the manifold. In my county in Nc it isn't required that you have a cat, but it might be closer to the city's. The lift is 70-100 dollars on ebay, its just shackles and a tortion crank. Later on I did do a DIY body lift using hockey bucks that was about $65 and gave me a little over an inch more lift.
Looking to purchase an 05 z71 crew cab 4x4 but I’m concerned of a brake issue my master tech told me. He said at high mileage the brake parts break easily on these models and you end up having to replace the entire thing every brake replacement, I love this truck especially with what you’ve done to it, mine will be all too similar at purchase and I do not want to be discouraged, I was wondering if you heard anything similar or it’s a possibility it was the one vehicle he could’ve worked on?
Mine didn’t have any break issues, I would research the “355nation” forums or “Coloradofans.com” forums for more information on the specific issues. Thanks!
@@danielmcdaniels295 I believe the Z71 option came with taller tires, possibly different wheels, and different suspension. I believe the Z71 had fender flairs from the factory.
