I have the same truck without the assisted blind spot warnings. I honestly am glad I saved the dough. Like you said there isn’t a blind spot in this truck 🎯. I’m trying to decide wether to lift or level. I got mine in the garage and want to keep it that way so I’m thinking level is way to go. Nice vid!! 👍
I'm trying to figure out the new front end and bumper. Initially I thought the Silverado was morphing towards the F -150look but don't think that now. A radical departure from previous models. Maybe it will grow on me, do like the color.Check out the FOOSE line of wheels . Chip Foose is an awesome wheel designer.
Black on black. A little late for commenting but I just bought a black gmc with black wheels. Just ordered the leveling kit. Can’t wait to put it on. Your Truck looks awesome
About a month ago i bought a 2019 silverado 1500 lt all star edition in north sky blue. It came with 22s and I couldn’t handle the ride on the rubber bands it came with. I did a 2 inch leveling kit and fit a 275/75r-18 +6 offset under the truck an it fits beautiful although I want to lift it 2 more inches I think.
Do you know what your measurements were from the tire to top of fender well after the level? I just bought a pre owned one and I cannot tell if it has been leveled or not, but looks higher than stock
I had 285/60/20 on my f150 and loved them. If you plan on going off road I would suggest 18s. the 20s were too hard when 4X4 and tires for 20 cost more.
Mark Brenner Appreciate it a lot. That’s the look I want on mine too. I wonder if the stick 18x 8.5 wheels will run the same size tires or do I need to go with 20x9s? Do you think it would mess with my warranty? My last truck I had 35x12.50s 7.5 inch rough country lift. Don’t need that height.
Now just trying to decide if to run stock 18s or dish out more money for 20s black trail boss replicas wrapped in ridge grapplers. You think do the rear 1 1/2 inch block or 2 inch? 2 inch would be equivalent to Trail Boss right? Also, what’s size tire did you run and did you rub at all in front? Thanks so much for helping me out. Decisions decisions.
Is it noticeable that it is slightly higher on the front? I can’t tell by looking at the video but read in the comments that you mentioned it was slightly higher, I bought a 2 inch leveling kit for my Silverado but hadn’t put it on yet. Good video man!
What leveling kit did they actually install? I'm considering the trail boss kit offered by GM but kinda prefer a leveled truck. Was it a motofab or something similar?
@@MarkBrenner No worries. The more I think about it the Trail Boss 2" kit might work better. But like you I really like a leveled truck. Ugh.... first world problems. lol
@@texasfish9437 the front sits lower so that when you out weight kn the back the truck levels out. And mine used to be perfect..then I leveled it and when I hooked the camper up for the first time the truck had a rake to it and towed noticeably worse because of it..the more even the load amd the truck are the easier time you'll have towing.
@@MarkBrenner Good to know, thanks. Looking to order a truck (RST) and wanted the lift be able to get some different tires under it, although I like the Chevy 20" wheels. Do those 295/60R20s rub at all?
Peetey not that I agree with the shade throw, I agree that these videos seem to show a lack of 2019 Silverado knowledge. I did do a LOT of research before I bought my 2019, but if he didn’t like the look, then I’m not sure why he needed to research it. I’ve owned Silverados since 09, so I’ve been following its evolution more. Probably should shut up and make my own channel lol.
Spencer Elvebak I have a 14 z71 LTZ but I just graduated college last month so I probably won’t jump in the next gen until they refresh it...I really feel like they should’ve put more effort into the interior....I like the aggressive exterior styling tho..,I also wish they would’ve kept the boxy wheel wells
Peetey I agree the boxy wheel well was what made a chevy look like a chevy. Now the side profile looks more like a Ford or Toyota. Aerodynamics won out I guess. I’m disappointed in all the aerodynamic changes and weight savings didn’t change the fuel economy from the 18’s. But it does sit taller and is wider and longer then the 18. Suppose that’s where the savings went. Love the extra 3” of cab space for my kids car seats.
I also think they should of put a little more into the interior looks, but they did make some good changes. I like the solid buttons on the steering wheel over the 18’s flat buttons that squish like a key fob. I see those kind of buttons cracking where the 19s individual plastic buttons won’t. The screen is a lot better too, even though it doesn’t look all that different. I see them doing a mid year interior design refresh in a couple years.
Spencer Elvebak if they do that’s when I will jump in....they should quit playing and make a full blown raptor fighter...I do like the trail boss but be honest it’s a half ass trim level...not even fully loaded..no 6.2 just a lifted z71...that being said, I would still like to own one
