Totally the dishes plan! That always makes me nuts!

Consistency is up there, along with taking advantage of my ADHD impulsivity. If I get it in my head to do any cleaning/organizing, I do it then and there.

Thank you for another great video! I actually like to clean but you have taught me so much so it has made cleaning that much more enjoyable and effective; my goal this year is to have a cleaner and more organized garage and cleaner and more organized closets! things I don't enjoy doing that much

First 😎 These cleaning resolutions are amazing! The one that I have implemented over a year ago, after watching your cleaning videos was the ‘full hands’ rule. It really helps with keeping the home tidy.

Dirty dishes go into the dishwasher not onto the sink or the counter for later.

Hi Melissa. love your videos. I have a question - I noticed that If the dirty dishes stay in the dishwasher all day long they become dry and then when they wash many hours later they may not be as clean because some food is stuck. Because of that, I keep the dishes all day long in the sink covered with water. Could it be the problem with my specific dishwasher? Please advise.

My cleaning goal for this year is to be consistent. A tip on laundry, take the basket all the way to the room where the items belong and fold them there. For example, I fold my clothes and bath towels in my bedroom because that's where they live. I used to fold on my coffee table and then the basket of clean and folded items would sit there for days.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again. My kitchen is the one room that has to be clean. I don’t leave dishes in the sink and I always take my dishes or cups or whatever I have taken to the seat where I eat or drink to the kitchen. I have a family member, who doesn’t live with me, who leaves bowls or plates or dishes in the area where they eat or drink. That makes me crazy. It’s like 10 steps to the kitchen. But, their house their rules. I do the quick bathroom tidy. I keep a container of disinfecting cloths in both bathrooms. That’s my short cut. I want to wipe down the tub more often. I have lifting difficulties but I am determined to do a better job. Thanks for the advice. Good to see you. 😊

My wish is to spritz the toilet bowl with Mr Clean just before I go yo bed…so it soaks for the night and first thing in the morning I swish the bowl a bit and clean it is! Second thing I want to do is wipe the bathroom sink when I’m finished with it…I already do this in the kitchen, now want to do this in the bathroom - looks alot cleaner since no water spots.

The FIFO is what grocery stores use when they’re restocking there shelves, they’ll put the freshest items to the back and the items with a use by date that’s soon, to the front, I always purchase my groceries from the back of the shelves, especially fruits and vegetables and those prepared salad mixes. Great tips as always, I implement most of them into my everyday life, but it is easier when you don’t have little kids at home anymore. Happy New Year 🥳
