Hello my Sexy People,
I know it has been a while, I will be back in full action soon, here is my second track day back at Snetterton! I am aware the mic was sounding crap because of all the wind, the Dead cat came off allowing all the wind noise to enter, my bad. Hope you enjoy this one. Learnt a lot more on track this time and more so about how much further I should look ahead and position myself off the bike more.

I love to watch the way this BMW runs. I would enjoy stuff like that myself. I like watching the good racing vehicle with a good racing driver. 👍🏼👍🏼😄

yep you got better and better , i'd just be to worried of going that bit to far and chucking it down the track , feelers touch down now every now and then on the B rds don't think i'd trust my self on a track lol nice vid again Don * )

Ah cheers buddy! You will be surprised how far you can go down with these bikes... incredible machines and capable of doing much more than what I can do. To be honest it is much safe going down on track than on the roads. I dealt with a fatal case on Sunday because of the central reservation. Got to stay safe out there! Thanks again pal 👊👊

And yeah thats the correct way to do it, start at the bottom and work up 🤪 My only criticism and winds me up when I see other riders doing it on track is you constantly trying to look behind you, even when you were mid corner, just forget what's going on behind you and concentrate on what's happening in front as things can go wrong extremely quickly. Enjoy dude

The most I do it is when I had the sighting laps to get tyres up to temp, watch the last 10 mins and see how often I do it. You are right if we have ACU licences and we are racing. On track people should not be overtaking in the corners but many bend the rules so rather be safe not coming off my bike than be swiped off and lose my little s1000rr. I understand both points though 👍

lots of good hanging off there- if you over do it, it is counter productive I find, as the bike will stand up and not turn so well...good stuff though

Cheers buddy, well the more upright the more grip you have so the more you hang the more upright the bike can remain

@@TheDonInLondon Not all about grip, you still have to turn the bike- the faster you go (corner) more you need to hang off. No point in over doing it. There are significant advantages on track for not keeping the bike so upright (some people are going so slow their bike is almost completely upright!!) The bike turns better leaning - grip is actually momentarily increased before letting go, G increases on the bike, compressing the suspension and decreasing rake, aiding turning ablility. I see people coming out of bends, hanging off like twats, they then exaggerate over steer in to the middle of the track to get back up, when in fact the racing line may be down the exit line. I sometimes induce a bit more lean angle to pull revs up, which means you can power out by standing it up without a gear change. Forget this fixation with exaggerated hanging off. It is for world champions to worry about

Nice vid 👍 What are you recording your voice to when on track?
@TheDonInLondon

Cheers buddy! Is an external recorder with a mic wired to my helmet. The recorder was stored under the rear seat... not an easy setup but works well. My problem was not having the dead cat on the mic to get rid of all that wind noise as it fell off and forgot to replace it
