To break it down, here's what I currently spend each year on my KDP tools: 1. Book Bolt = $100 2. Canva = $120 (though I use it for more than just KDP) 3. Creative Fabrica = $60 Total = $280! This may change as I adapt and look into different tools, but this is what I use and love right now! What tools do you consider to be absolutely essential for your KDP business? 🤩

Canva, Canva, Canva!! That's my all time favorite both free & paid. I use it for KDP, PRINTABLES, RU-vid Thumbnails & Promotional Items. And that discount for Creative Fabrics...that's awesome! Keep smiling, and thanks for sharing. ☺️

A tip for canva, if you want to use a pro element you can absolutely use it in your design and it won’t charge you until you actually try to download the image. This is great because you can play around with all of the elements before buying anything. I actually have both a pro and free account with canva. I do some digital downloads on Etsy so I want to try to use free elements so people don’t need the pro account to download things and so I don’t have to edit the design and send it to them which keeps it passive

Sarah, I'm sending this question to you because I have learned the most from your videos. I have the free version of Canva and I created a cover for an 8x10 notebook, then I created the inside. So now, I don't know how to put them together and once I do, then what do I do? Thanks, and keep up the good work. I'm learning !

I'm so glad my videos have helped you!! Okay, this is something that I think trips people up a lot. KDP puts them together for you! Just make sure to download both your cover and interior separately as PDF prints, and then you can upload them in their respective sections when creating your book! Hi Sarah, thank you for sharing the KDP tools you use. I appreciate the transparency! Personally I use Canva Pro and I agree with what you say! I have a question about your RU-vid videos. What equipment & software do you use? This video, like many of your other videos, is aesthetically pleasing. What filter did you use to set the color tone?

It's something I've continually been honing, haha. :) And okay, bear with me; I'm just going to go ahead and copy and paste the information of everything I use! And as for the filter, I'll typically just set my lighting kit to create a warmer tone, and then I'll do color grading within Shotcut!
