I bet your husband is a bit relieved that you are so easy to "shop" for birthday gifts, etc. Thanks for the peak at the countryside and the shops! Love that. The filming of your new Greenstyle pants in the shop was good. Your standards have gotten quite high 😂 Your fabric choices are so pretty and the expression on your face shows how happy you are about adding them to your collection! I can't wait to see what you make from them. I'd also love to see how you cut the fabric to get so many garments from one piece. Also, the metric/imperial conversion was doing my head in, but a meter is 4" longer than a yard. 10 cm = 4". I know you're smart enough to look this up, but I've found this easy to memorize and I thought I'd share. Thanks again for the fun Friday-over-morning-coffee vlog!.

That the absolute best birthday gift ever!! Hats off to your husband! 👏🏼 That green print linen/Rayon blend fabric… WOW!!! I want like 5 yards of that!! Linen/rayon is my absolute favorite fabric to work with and wear and that print is AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to see what you make with that! Happy birthday!! 🥳🥳

Happy birthday! My 72nd was February 18th and my son's 54th was February 22nd. Nice to see a shot of your handsome elusive husband.You two make a perfect couple. Maybe you can sneak in a photo of your son sometime. He must be off to college by now. Beautiful scenery on your trip. What a dream to have amazing fabric shops available.I aIso buy fabric I like then decide what I will do with it. Seems if I am looking for a specific fabric it is no where to be found. I love the parrot, he’s wearing a party hat! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥳 That green & beige rayon linen blend! I thought it was camo at first glimpse in the shop, but it’s actually really lovely. Camo colour blends are often lovely, i just hate the camo print pattern. Good thing i’m not in the military 😂 Looks like you had a wonderful birthday getting spoilt by hubby 😄

Feliz aniversário! It's nice to see the countryside and have a peek inside the store. It looked overwhelming, in a good way. Your big prints are really beautiful, I can't wait to see what you make with them. The forest green fabric looks teal on my screen. More blue than green. It's weird how that happens with some colors.

Belated happy birthday wishes girlie!!!! I told my hubbie about your trip and he said 'are you hinting!!!!!' That is because it is my birthday next week! Anyway, I loved your video. That blue and beige large print is stunning (and the burgundy which suits you so well). I can't wait to see what you make. I also make as many garments out of each bit of fabric as I can squeeze out. My latest project is from some of that knit fabric with like plaits on it. I made a turtle neck, then used the largest leftover bit for the front of an Itch to Stitch Foz top with sleeves etc from some matching french terry leftovers and then used the small remnants to make a beanie hat. Nothing goes to waste!!!!

Fabrics are just awesome. So nice of your hubby. My hubby just gave me some money for my birthday also to do some shopping. I got some fabric,some sewing accessory feet I’ve been wanting, and things for my vegetable garden. So I was quite happy also.

That was fun. When I lived near North Carolina I frequently shopped for fabric n a shop that was very much like the first shop that you showed us. I could spend hours there as they had all types of fabrics there. Unfortunately, the shop closed a few years ago and I haven’t found another like it. Lately I do most of my shopping online but I miss seeing the entire piece and miss being able to touch the fabrics. I enjoyed seeing your finds and seeing you so happy with them.

Wow, Farm Rio remnants? Here in the states, the brand Farm Rio is what I call “pricey”. Not the very most high end expensive clothes, but too much money for me. I love how they mix patterns and colors. But, it’s too much going on for me. Your fabric haul is wonderful! Love to see you having so much fun!❤

How lucky you are to be able to shop at several different fabric shops. I don't have that choice. It's a trip to Joanns Fabric or I buy online. Sometimes, I'm not happy with what I purchased online, but most of the time I love what I picked out.

happy b'day.... you are so appreciated. I think i suggest your channel most often to sewists that need some inspiration and answers to fitting/sewing/design changes. I'm a midwife with a masters degree lol. Since moving....practicing has been impossible due to different legislations and education systems, so I started a sewing channel because it was always my passion too.... As a hobby.

Oh, you won't believe it but, the view of the scenery near São Paulo looks exactly like Southern Ontario in Canada. Really interesting. We know São Paulo as the location for the Bolshoi Ballet's international ballet school. It looks like a nice place to live.

I am amazed to hear you say that you can get multiple garments out of 4 meters, or a blouse and leggings out of 1.5 meters. Is your fabric really wide .. more than 150 cm? It looks like you have tremendous selection available. I have to go online to find what I like.

How lovely to see your trip to the fabric shops and a quick shot of your husband driving you to them. Lush countryside too. I have british friends who live in Piracicaba and they send me photos and videos of the surrounding countryside, flowers and animals. I look forward to seeing the updates they send. Oh to fabric shop in person so you can touch and feel. There is no apparel fabric shops even near here. Surge, but it is online only. Hobby Lobby fabric gets pills on it. I have a lot of it so hope all of it doesn't.

What is the name of the fabric you use as trim around necklines and armseyes that looks like leather? I have also watched you use it as trims on pockets. Do I just search for "leather look lycra"? Also, when you use hem tape as a bias, what do you prefer? As always, I enjoy your videos. R, Wanda

What a fabulous haul. That burgundy is close to my favourite colour which would be a shade darker. So hard to find fabric that vibrant colour!
