I always love seeing the before and after pictures you put at the end. Your looks always come out looking so natural it's hard to see the difference the makeup actually made until you see the side by side comparison. Love the natural, simple, and fresh faced look.

Well, 5 Minutes...need to practice that :). But after 3 years of watching your videos I know it is about the right colors and the concentration on one's personal main beauty "problem". This is essentially my daily routine. It's amazing how a little can just refresh you. Thanks for sharing! Nice to see an example of a toned down look. Not that there is anything wrong with wearing more, I just get overwhelmed by it sometimes since I'm not a big eye or contour/highlighting etc person. 😊

When I'm in a hurry I can't be bothered to use a brush or blender. The quickest way to apply foundation is with your fingers so I just splash the foundation allover and then blend it with my fingers without a mirror and 60 seconds later - voila, all is good and ready and looking flawless.

When I have friends who have never done makeup and want to learn how to wear makeup, I always advise them to watch your videos. Everything seems so simple when you explain it and the result is always beautiful. Agree.. which is why I have a tall cupboard with mirror on top that closes and opens. It's fantastic! 6 drawers below for the foundations, brushes, hair accessoires etc.. and the eyeshadows, primers, mascara are laying on the very top. It's the Malm serie from IKEA. Got it a long time ago, it's perfect as make-up station for those standing. :) xxx

It's so interesting to see which step of a full make up face a woman can sacrifice or not..for me, concealer is the essential but I can easily sacrifice the whole eye/mascara part because I have long lashes...but I have skin issues so, if I have no time, I just try to make my base as flawless ad I can, so I can't just skip the concealer part :-) I just conceal my spots, blush and natural lipstick or lip balm (usually the dior lip glow or the addict lipstick are my go to). I just realised that I was pretty much holding my breath for that entire video. It made me so anxious. When you are as naturally beautiful as you are Lisa, 5 mins is all you need. But 20 mins is as quick as I can do mine. I try to cut it back but it's all or nothing for me.

I've recently returned to my Max Factor CC cream as a foundation because it applies really nicely with fingers and it's pale enough for my translucent skin. I just squirt a tiny bit on my fingers, warm it up and apply it on my face and it cuts out so much time and effort, and it doesn't show up on dry areas. I've been neglecting my colourful eyeshadows recently but I'm sure they'll get some love when I practice a bit more on applying single colours quickly!

My daily routine for college is the same as this. The only difference is that I use a brown eyeliner in my waterline instead of eyeshadow. Perfect! You look oh-so-lovely Lisa. Almost radiant, if I must say. Absolutely beautiful.

I used to like putting eye pencil on my lower lash line, but it would run down after only a little time and I eventually gave up. Does anyone have a tip on what to do in that case if you can't run to a mirror every ten minutes?

+Ellie K Have you tried using a waterproof pencil liner? I know that sounds like an obvious thing to suggest, but there are some really good ones around that don't budge after you've applied them...I like the Urban Decay 24hr liners...they go on creamy & smooth, you around 30 seconds to smudge them but they don't move after they've set.

I think the first one that I tried was waterproof, but it didn't last a whole day either. Maybe I should try another brand. Thanks for the answer, however obvious it seemed :)

+Ellie K here in India we get smudge proof/water proof Kajal pencils / eye pencils in every shop for 200-250 rupees. That's just 3-5$. Perhaps you have oily lids? Maybe that's why the waterproof one didn't stay on for long? Try a smudge proof one instead of a waterproof one maybe? I've seen some people on YT using black eyeshadow on top of the eye pencil to increase wear time. You could try that trick too :)

Oh, I love this video so much. I've recently come to prefer a much less made-up look, as I don't like how heavy foundation and concealer feel on my skin, but I'm insecure enough about my skin to want to clean it up at least a little bit. This is perfect. I'm a student with morning exercise classes and this will be a perfect look to try, both on the aesthetic and timing side, after I've toweled off and am ready to go to lectures and labs. Wow Lisa, your skin looks amazing! It actually looks better as you age! Unbelievable! I believe that you said you had combination skin (which I do as well) and I have the impression you have changed your routine 1 or 2 years ago and I noticed a difference (you always looked great but now just flawless). I started cleansing with a balm (the Aurelia one) since I saw your video and it improved my combination skin so much. I feels with this type of skin, it's quite hard to find the perfect routine because it doesn't need the same thing all over so I found great comfort in watching your videos. I absolutely love your natural looks! I'm extremely happy I came across your channel about 3-4 months ago, I have only been wearing makeup for about a year but I believe my makeup has improved so much since I started watching your videos! I have very slight acne but most of my skin is clear and I have very full eyebrows and since watching your videos I've been keeping my both my skin and brows very natural, thank you for your amazing advice!
