Hope everyone's summers are going super well. Mine's been pretty nice so far -- I'm working as like, a digital archivist (?) at my dad's office. Personally, I highly prefer it to lifeguarding. It's marginally more engaging than sitting in a chair and doing nothing, so I like this job much more. Otherwise, I'm about to go visit a friend in France for almost a whole month. I'm probably equal parts nervous and excited. Altogether, it's not too bad.
This video is just a handful of short clips that I took and compiled during my last week of school before finals. Because the University of Chicago works on the quarter system, we have four quarters that are each nine weeks (previously ten weeks in 2020). The last school week before summer is usually pretty rowdy, so there were lots of really fun things going on. During the days before finals, teachers don't really assign much additional homework. Therefore, I had a lot more free time to mess around with friends at their apartments, go to the beach, and hang out on the quad (Also, study... sure.) Enjoy my last week as a second year at UChicago!
