Couple notes on our boy Kyle with the invisibility tech, because in the comics he's actually fairly important: His full name is Kyle Nimbus, otherwise known as The Mist, he's Canadian ex-military who discovered a way to transform himself into living mist. He went up against Starman constantly in the golden age before fading into obscurity into a while... only to come back with a vengeance against subsequent Starmen alongside his children, though his son wasn't up to snuff and died during one of these battles. His daughter on the other hand... hoo boy. She makes her dad look like a saint by comparison, psycho with a capital P. But yeah, basically Kyle's usual schtick is dedicating an unhealthy amount of his life, including the time he probably should've spent being a parent, to the destruction of an entire ongoing legacy of heroes.
@@kwayneboy1524 Quite literally just a nickname based on the fact that his tech lets him fade from sight, though if things go for him the way they seem to have for Livewire as of the end of episode 2, he could very well gain powers from his tech at some point and become actual mist.
@@danzansandeev6033 That's part of it, but there is a definite executive bias for the edgy Batman. It's not just him being easier to write problems for and make toys for.
I think Jimmy is a conspiracy theorist because he already knows that Clark is different therefore the world they live in must be full of different beings
So Intergang here is a squad of thieves and it was great to see a different version of Silver Banshee here. Next episode will introduce a villain who is more different than their og version. Btw I wanna see more of Livewire and we're definitely going to see Slade in the future bc you can see most of the villains in the intro of the show.
Airships. They're cheap loiterers, but they are flimsy AF. Poor Lois must have been hoofing it. Now we have a Banshee. Ree Ree Ree. It's a little hard to reconcile this flamboyant Cat Grant with the cheerful professional from Young Justice. Yeah, sure they'll get a credit. If they do, it's going to be buried in the footnotes or deep in the credits of a documentary that people won't stick around for. "What is coming next for Metroplolis?" MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh honey, you have NO idea how bad things could get! From a giant mech based on a wind up robot with a tachyon cannon to asteroids to dozens of blocks leveled to an invasion by the god of tyranny. Intergang.... yeah that makes sense, even if I am not currently aware of any ice villains related to Superman.... which is weird because there's a few ice villains floating around in DC. Icicle, Icicle Jr., Killer Frost. Mr. Freeze, Captain Cold, and possibly more. You're a quick study on the impersonation, Lois. Also, you might want to wash up with those sticky fingers. How do you go from convenience stores to... well... usual Intergang theft of high end tech and weapons to commit more theft? LOIS! So much for paragon of journalist ethics. Always have to be ready for that one guard who's ready to play hero. So apparently, like with Livewire, these things have heavily volatile power supplies. Jeez! Did Dr. Fries build this thing!? Not the level of detail he have DCAU Lane, but this Clark doesn't know as much as that one did then. Short and sweet.
Advanced tech hiding even more advance unstable alien looking tech. I think these gadgets are going to be the cause for super powers because they are harnessing alien tech.
It seems like all the villains in the show may be tech-based, looking at the show so far as well as photos of future villains. If it's some kind of story element where we build up to Clark facing a super-powered villain that he struggles with... fine. But if all the villains are tech-based for no reason, I wouldn't like that choice.
I kinda like that as it fits the genres of the trinity Batman is Pulp Noir(serial killers, terrorists and mobsters) Wonder Woman is historic Fantasy(gods, monsters and magical beings) and lastly Superman is Sci-fi(aliens, robots, cosmic beings and mad scientists).
