This episode was GREAT!

I found it a creative and logical choice to have Clark not understand his fathers message since he wouldn't be able to speak that langue. And that way it's a good plot point to have Clark learn it and uncover it's meaning

2:30 - A friend of mine actually voiced Jor-El. His name’s Jason Marnocha, formerly known as LordJazor on his old channel. He actually started out doing an amazing Mark Hamill Joker impression, and now he’s the voice of Megatron and has worked on several anime, including 7 Deadly Sins and MegaloBox.

Jor-El, the references, the journalistic team, the ending with those characters!!!! Damn, it's beautiful!

Noticed in episode 01 that Lois has a picture of Vicki Vale in her room whilst (more importantly imo) Clark and Jimmy have a ‘Legend of Zelda’ poster in theirs. Or at least as close as you can get to a ‘Legend of Zelda’ poster without it actually being a ‘Legend of Zelda’ poster.

I can't believe how much I LOVE this show!!! It's so wholesome and fun! A refreshing take on Superman! I hope James Gunn is taking notes!

After Superman and Lois’ season 3 ended, this will continue having Superman fixes.

I honestly have no idea why people didn’t know he was a younger Deathstroke Orange and black armor with his right eye hidden from view

Fun Fact: Jimmy's YT name is Flamebird which in the comics is a type of bird that lives on Krypton and is associated with the other Kryptian bird known as the Nightwing. At one point Jimmy even became a hero known as Flamebird and the title was later given to Batwoman's sidekick, funny how Supes shares his herritage with the Batfam🤗

What I’ve noticed is that Krypton’s sun is yellow then becomes red when some sort of missile is shot into it! It seems that Kryptonians always had powers then lost them. Which explains why it seems he has to unlock his full potential and why Jor-El’s hologram is floating.

He does have the color scheme of slade/deathstroke. If Amanda Waller is here then shenanigans will come forth. I wonder if we will have flash backs every episode. I think this is the first time were Kryptonian technology didn't translate the kryptonian to english. I guess Clark is going have to learn the language the hard way.

Almost feels like a Superman and Lois prequel.

Fun fact about the superman shorts! The original design was inspired by strong man acts where bodybuilders in sideshows would wear shorts like that to show off all the muscles. Superman is a strong man. It's perfect lol

I think that the flashback from livewires gem was general Zod invading earth and it will probably happen in the season finale

MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN 2 EPISODES ARE AMAZING

There have been so many great things established in this show thus far, but let me just say, the animation is stellar! There have already been many visually stunning sequences, and we’re only on episode 2! I can’t wait for your future reactions of the show :)

Ancient Krypton wars, Argus and the tone all are great points. Would love them to have more seasons for this before DCU cancels it.

I feel like this show might be the beginning of a new DCAU with the name drop Task Force X and the appearance of Amanda Waller. Who knows, we might see Batman make an appearance at some point? I will say that in regards to the trunks debate, if it's a lighter toned story then yes, Superman needs the trunks. If it's a darker toned story like with Man of Steel, then yes no trunks is fine. In my opinion though, I'd prefer my Superman to have trunks not only because of the breaking up of the blue but also because it makes him look even more vibrant and colorful like he's supposed to be. And also like what was mentioned, it's an iconic and classic look. I seriously wish this debate could be put to rest.

I think that was Waller at the end and the guy was Lois dad General Samuel Lane.

It’s still to early to guess but I have a theory that we could be seeing brainiac pop up

I really like the tone of the show so far. Feels like a really good introduction to the Superman world for kids. Hopefully the storytelling can get as complex and engaging as past DC animated series for older audiences to remain interested. Plus this Slade is going to need to get really menacing if he wants to compete with Ron Perlman’s Slade from Teen Titans. Him being voiced by Morty’s dad doesn’t exactly help

I wonder if they're gonna show Slade losing his eye. Also, I like how badass Jor-El looks.

I like that they show a little bit of young clark in the beginning of every episode.

The art, the dialogue and the comedy all remind me of the latest She-Ra show. If you haven't seen it you should.

This show is great. Feels kinda animé but that's coming from a guy who doesn't watch much animé. They got Clark right, Lois is amazing, Jimmy is fun. The animation is stellar, the pacing and story is amazing. I love all of it so far, all 3 episodes.
