Judging by how old everyone is, I’m guessing Batman is either still training or is starting his Batman career and isn’t quite the Batman we know yet (hence why Vicky thought Clark might be a threat. Imagine a young brutal Batman who’s as unstoppable as Superman. I’d try to alert people if I was Vicky!!)

Zod looks different from when he first appeared on the first zero day, possibly on life support with cybernetic enhancements 🤔😓? And Brainiac is his second-in-command 😥.

The effects of the radiation of a Kryptonite shard are even more *terrifying/horrifying* than they've ever been before 😰😱. Not only is it lethally toxic/poisonous to Kryptonians, it starts causing the body of any Kryptonian within too close range of it *_to crystallize_* 😰😱! Curiously, it has a similar effect on Kryptonian technology 🤔😓. That red crystal powering the ship wasn't red Kryptonite, more likely, since Clark was getting increasingly exhausted (aside from having just pushed a gigantic spaceship into the upper part of Earth's atmosphere and likely still feeling weakened from having just a few minutes ago been exposed to raw Kryptonite radiation), it was producing _red sun radiation_ 😥.

According to TV Tropes, General Samuel "Sam" Lane likely hasn't figured it out yet whether or not Clark and Superman are one and the same, but he has his suspicions 😰, and that he doesn't seem to like him (Clark) regardless 😥😓.

It wasn't until I watched this review that I realized Geberal Lane didn't actually have it confirmed that Clark is Superman. He may suspect it, particularly when it seems to him like Lois is in love with both Clark and Superman and doesn't have a problem with it. However, he may not have enough evidence to be 100% sure. Like when Lois figured it out, it seems obvious to her, but at the same time her brain is balking at the idea of goofy, doofus Clark being Superman. That being said, there's no reason why Superman snd Lois can't go to the General and try to explain the situation. Amanda Waller isn't going to want to listen, but Sam Lane might. I can see him becoming more of a frenemy, one who suspects who Superman is, but doesn't want to know. I also hope they can tecover something of Jor-El's AI in Season 2. As I've said in response to other reviews, I think the idea of Clark still learning his powers, and Krypton being a danger, even of it's just surviving rebels led by General Zod, puts a whole new twist on the Superman story. Its a lot better than the dark angsty take we've seen in the Superman movies. It puts Clark's support system back on Lois and Jimmy, where is belongs. As powerful as Superman is, he can't take on an army of Kryptonians alone, and it's his human family that will be there to back him up.

Idk if I’m alone in this but I don’t like that Johnathan is alive; his death is on par with Uncle Ben’s in that he needs to die (heart attack, not a tornado Snyder) and Superman despite all his powers has to accept that bad things happen and he can’t feel responsible for everything. He can only do the best that he can do.

It isn't as integral of a plot point for Clark as it is for Peter though. Clark can and has learned that through other people dying of natural causes, it doesn't always have to be Pa Kent.
