I think Chadwick boseman also did his anestry before he passed away and he said that he was from Sierra Leone so show out to Sierra Leone and RIP to Chadwick.

Many years ago there was no Sierra Leone.Sierra Leone just like Liberia was formed by the British freed slaves,after the abolition of slavery the British brought them to Sierra Leone.

Had mine via MyHeritage DNA. I can't wait to get back to the U.S. on Turkey day to order my African Ancestry kits. Born and raised on a cotton and probably rice plantation in the SC lowcountry.

The European mention could also be blacks, Spain and Portugal did deport our people to Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Cuba and Hispaniola, we were actually the first Hispanics and they were all blacks, check the Jamaican maroons who escaped the Spanish plantations when the British attacked! Take a second look on them people you talking about!

I do not believe all these DNA , am a Ghanaian, but when i did my DNA test my father side is 55 percent British and my mother side just 45% Ghana, how does it be possible? Am black not mixed race0

I used to be suspect until they confirmed so many relatives I knew were relatives as relatives. At that point, whether I believed it or not, it proved what I already knew to be true as true and went even deeper. It challenged many of the lies my family tried to peddle. Once the dna exposed the lies, their only response was they they didn’t believe it but the facts were the facts.

Truth is ...@,sierra leone is a freetown for free slaves ,its a diverse culture ..they are not a people with a culture but a mixed culture from all over or some few africa countries where slaves were later returned to in as free slaves,so its not a country which has a culture and a language but rather they combined the few conflicting language each and everyone came with to form a language call kilro,so it does not make sense to say your ancestry come from sierra leone..something is not right about this ancestral thing,in short its a free land for free slaves,and they did not enslave any african there.
