I really like that you explain why you put ingredients (baking soda, lemon), cause if it doesn't make sense to me, I generally leave them out - yep, I am nuts! Did I hear Christmas again! just thought of injecting them with vegan cheese (like a stuffed donut) or after frying, simmering them in tomato sauce, ohh mind is going crazy on this one!!! on my tomorrow's project list, definitely!
Those look amazing. I think I would just eat them for a quick breakfast snack. Who says veggy balls have to be for lunch or dinner? I love listening to you talk, you have a sweet personality and you always make me giggle. Cant wait to try these little rolly pollies.
Thank-you. This is a very informative vid. I'm only vegan for a couple months now. Thanks for explaining the "why's" as it pertains to seasoning additions.
I have been gone for a few months... Some changes have happened! Good to see you again! 💜 Oh Jana! You talk all you want to it's who you are. I talk a lot also but it's who you are and if people don't like who you are then too bad. You talk as much as you want to you're a beautiful wonderful person! And we love you for who you are and if somebody says otherwise that's their problem. By the way I'm a older woman not a guy married to Morticia Addams in a show. There was too many morticia's out there. I know what it's like to be a chef I know what it's like to talk a lot. Don't you ever feel bad about who you are or what you do I think you're just perfect! XOXO💜🐸🌱🦋
Parcooking these before frying them is another ingenious Chef Jana innovation! They look delicious and I happen to have all the ingredients to make these, so will give them a try tomorrow! ThanksForPosting : )
I haven't EVEN watched the video yet but the initial view of these critters have got me seriously drooling in anticipation already. Been sorta out of viewing your channel due to some health reasons but glad to be coming back. I have some catching up to do with your recipes. Blessings to you, love you & support you!!! 😋💚
Those look absolutely delicious 😋 I can’t wait making this recipe. Sitting here and writing my missing ingredients down for my grocery list. That will be another staple recipe. I already have so many recipes I love of yours. Hugs and love 💕
Chef Jana, those great veggie balls would be great with pasta. Make a fresh tomato sauce with delicious fresh red tomatoes and add fresh basil once the sauce is ready. Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce and the veggie balls! 😋😍😁😘💖😀😄
I like to use brown rice flour when I’m not baking. It’s cheap, readily available, and I’ve never noticed a difference compared to regular All Purpose flour. I’ve only recently switched over to gluten free for a family member, and I don’t miss the gluten at all aside from baked goods.
I wonder if I could use well drained butternut squash pulp instead of zucchini? And would glutinous rice flour work as Part of the flour? For a chewy texture. Off to experiment....!!!! Thanks!!
@@jencollier8306 You know the consistency of dumplings? Sort of gummy and delicious, that. Causing the starch to bloom, then it will get extra crispy in the following stage.
I have zucchini and carrots. I need bread and vegan butter which I've never used or purchased. This is on my list to make in the next day or two. I generally do not use any type of oil. But I might make an exception. Looks yummy. Linda
