Mk.24 is an acquired taste, you either hate it or you love it. I love when my teams feels bad for me in the beginning but then I’m the one with more kills than anyone in the match XD

The Hispanos tendency to spark is contagious, even the rockets sparked lmao.

That rp3 spark physically hurt, knowing how comically slow and difficult they are. But nice shot vs that p51 :)

Back when it was still 6.7 and the Hispanos actually did damage, I put a talisman on for grinding. 5:14 perfectly describes how that turned out

The single 50cal on a yak does more damage then 4 20mm hispanos

I still remember when ground sweden was first added and i was flying a j21 in ground rb at 6.7 where i killed on of these and a 262, god that was amzing feeling

For some reason I really liked that Spit Mk24 once spaded. I'm a average air RB player (using a controler) but the MK24 is the plane I got the most aces with.

So in other words, Gaijin still can't fix things without breaking others? They fixed the Japanese 20mm, but the hispanos (and also somehow rockets) now get to play sparkle thunder?

i think we can commonly agree that the br bracket from 6.0-8.0 is generally suffering, with very few exceptions, but one can physically feel the pain of 'Hit™' and 'Critical Hit™' with cannons

I mean tbf it wouldn't be unlikely for a mk24 to see a lot of these jets, but its not balanced at all and shows why historical matchmaking would suck for a lot of planes.

This plane is so good, they had to pair it up with planes 30 years ahead of it AND nerf it's guns

This just makes me yearn for the good old days of when it was .3 lower. Props every match, you had a chance of catching most jets you saw, shitsparkos, space climbing B-29s dragging out the end of the match... okay, maybe they weren't as good as I thought.

As every good montage editor knows, as long as you cut away soon enough, your audience will be tricked into thinking every Critical Hit is actually a kill

I feel like after recent changes, if your plane doesn’t have .50s or anything 30 or above, its just outclassed for some reason..

i remember it was put at 7.0 back in the day when it was broken op. iirc before being 6.7 was 6.3 and the 22 was 6.0 good old days. idk about modern day meta cuz i quitted ages ago but it could be put back to 6.3

It’s such a pleasure to play the mk.24 against me 262s and the likes. You can shit so hard on them. The problem comes when fighting su11 and f84/89.

I remember not long ago when I complained about the hispanos on the meteor g41 when I was gridning to unlock rank 7 for GB and my team told my to stfu and git gud xD

It's weird cuz everything else with Hispanos at the moment is basically a one touch kill. You flown the Hornet lately? Instakills everything with the exact same armament as this Spit.

BTW jets have absolutely busted damage models. MG151/20 HEI to the wing of F89B, part of the wing NEXT to the part that was hit turns SLIGHTLY yellow. Yeah.... EDIT: I would like to clarify - the part that was hit didn't even turn light yellow, because premium I guess XD

The Ta-153 H-1 can throw down with a Spitfire mk24 with the usual alt advantage it would have on it. The Spit should be at 6.0 and the 7.0 Me-262 is kinda ass and should be moved down a little too, mabey 6.3

So it’s not really that the cannons are bad on the spit (Airbelt SAP shells do wonders) it’s just that jet aircraft have inflated damage models meaning they take way more shit before blowing up, which is unrealistic as IRL early jets quite litterally ripped themself spart due to high airframe stress… Also now go play the wellingtons and enjoy the non-existent damage model, as it quite litterally is broken… i got my tail shot clean off more often then not (Which it shouldn’t due to geodesic design) by f’ing 7.92’s… Gaijn plz fix muh wellies
