My Arrival to Cairo, Egypt was not what I expected! After putting my trip to Egypt off for years because of the bad press and negative videos shown on the internet about this country, I finally decided to make the trip myself! In this video I will explain the visa on arrival process in Egypt and share with you all my first impressions of the city! We will also make our way to the Novotel 6th of October, which is where I chose to call home for the duration of y stay in Cairo!

I was in Egypt in 2022, and had the best time of my life!! You absolutely must do the cruise up the Nile - - beautiful! The food was fabulous . Best 2 weeks ever spent traveling in this part of the world.

The timing on this couldn't be more perfect! I'm headed from Norway to Sharm El-Sheikh on the 20th and it'll be my first time in Egypt as well :D I also get nervous visiting a country for the first time but luckily my family is going with me. I hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Egypt 💗

Hi Chris. It's great that you visited Egypt because it is huge and there are many places to see. It has both seas the Mediterranean and Red Seas and the Nile River. You must visit Alexandria and the North Coast on the Mediterranean. On the Red Sea there is Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, Dahab, etc... You also must see Siwa Oasis. All the museums and the Grand Egyptian Museum is a must! There are all sophisticated and elite places and also authentic places. All hotels including 5-stars hotels and shopping malls. There's lots and lots to see. Ofcourse Luxor and Aswan by cruise on the Nile River. You are amongst the kindest people in the World the Egyptians! Also Egyptians are extremely hospitable! Our restaurants are great and the Egyptian food is awesome and you must try Egyptian delicacy the pigeons! You are right Sonny Side was very dishonest when he spoke about Egypt because many people try very hard to ruin Egypt's reputation out of political interests for other countries! He even filmed some places that are not actually in Egypt and it was fake! We love you so much and we are your loyal Egyptian followers from Montreal, Canada. We love you so much!!!!!!

Egypt has many sophisticated and classy places and also authentic places the people are the kindest. Our nieces and nephews are in Cairo and Alexandria. We have been trying to have them come on a visitor's visa to Canada since 2022. So far, they did not give them (the Canadian Consulate) their visitor's visa. Can you imagine that?

I am amazed that you didn`t tip anyone. Yes, the service provided is terrific because staff rely on tips. I stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Heliopolis of which was 10/15 minutes travel time to and from the hotel.

I was there like 2008 but not so much modern buildings you can see but I liked the old Egypt way and style, more conservative. Very ancient. Seeing your videos seems everything changed but I would love to visit again. Hopefully!!! 😊😊😊☺️

Download your maps offline from the iPhone. I do it for every country I visit prior to leaving. I also travel with 2 phones, a 15 and an old 12 so I can use local SIM’s.

You are travelling with a smile despite any hiccups you face. And you go with the flow. The 6 October hotel looks amazing! 80/night for that is nothing. It obviously isnt busy. Govt needs hard currency. 25 usd for a visa is cheap. It is 150 for Canadians. You clearly showed that the anti-Egypt whiners have exaggerated. I have been through the airport many times. Also easy to get thru. I agree with you about Sonny. He overexagerrated amd got the views he wanted. I really do hope you go to the red sea. Ain al sokhna is an hour from Cairo. Nile cruise, valley of the kings. You are there and it and mesoptamia are the oldest civilizations in the world. See as much as you can. Love your enthusiasm & energy! Cant wait for the next vlog! Best ever food channel ... @Sunny had nothing nice to say about Egypt like you said. My friend Bal was in Egypt the same time as you. He and his family liked it and went on a cruise down the Nile. The pictures he was sending me were off the hook. My parents went there 2 years ago. They did not like Cairo, museum yes. I need to go and see it for myself. Its not at the top of my list right now.

It's easy to get around and enjoy yourself with deep pockets. As a bargain traveler, I go as cheap as possible. Go walking in Las Vegas, airport to Elara. Elara to Las Vegas Premium Outlets/Downtown Las Vegas and back to Elara.
