The glass table, the gear rack between the speakers and the mirror behind the rack with no treatment whatsoever - I hope that Macintosh room correction unit can do its business because the setup makes me suffer. Trance was definitely unexpected and appreciated :).

Makes my system look budget lol but if I had the dream system it would be like yours, I have a mixture of Cyrus, Arcam, Naim and Bluesound but it for me I love it. Yours though is so impressive and thank you so much for sharing.
Now that’s some elite gear; very nice toys for the 1% ;) I recently bought a slightly used car, a 2016 Honda Fit, for half the price of one of those McIntosh power amps.

I've had a life-long love affair with Maggies. I don't currently own Magnepan speakers, but I have had a couple pairs in the past. This was an awesome demonstration!!!
@@vpconcepts9838 One of the most enjoyable systems I ever heard, regardless of price, was at an Audio Shop in San Francisco that included Maggie 3.7i and a couple of high quality subs. I was totally "Blown Away" by that system!!! Thanks again for that wonderful video.
I have LRS maggies and right now 1 REL T5i. Not the greatest but it does sound good for the money invested. Second REL in the near future. Merry Christmas!
So it's fun to sum up a system or a piece of Gear in one word, my word is "Tinsel" the stuff we place on a Christmas Tree it's clean, shiny & gives that extra sparkle & sentiment to the room. But it seemed a bid constraint in the Base. My 18" Subs weren't to full or moving. My 15" Martin Audio, Black Line X series likes the clear refined sound the Magies produce. I am 60 & most definently into EDM Trance, currently Paul Van Dyk & Nora En Pure. But if Grandpa likes Music choices a few of my Teen favorites are Bill Nelson from Bebop Delux, Necktar song Astral Man & it's LP. City Boy from Australia LP The Day the Earth Caught Fire would Jam on that System.. I would like to hear some Tangerine Dream on those Maggies.. I am a Singer maybe I'll have my RU-vid Channel up soon & can Sing through that System as only I a REAL Singer can do.
I am in the market for McIntosh amps, however I am not sure what to get. I have Linn Klimax 350 passive speakers, 1000 watt each. What would you recommend that works both for listening to music and use as a home theatre? Do you think I should go for Mc462 or MC 611 or MC 1.25kw?

I usually put on some classical INFECTED MUSHROOM on when I need the deep bass going. check their 2001 album B.P.EMPIRE its still one of the best "pre" psy-trance albums in my opinion. Are both if those big Macs plugged into that ps audio Power plant? Never had luck with big amps plugged into power conditioners. only low level source gear like CD players, dacs, preamps etc. Thank you and nice system!
As an audiophile, how do you keep yourself in check so you don't cross the line into ostentatiousness to the point of ridiculousness? When I told my friends how much I spent on a pair of B&W 803D2, they thought I was crazy. They have no idea how much people are willing to spend to bring the "reality" sound into their living room and, more importantly, the level of ecstasy one experiences at the mere sound of a new system you never heard before. They think all systems sound the same. Question: Does it really matter as long as you can afford it or is there a point where it really...really becomes ridiculous regardless if you have the money? Right now, as I am typing this, I am thinking about upgrading to a 800D3, but there is a rumor circulating B&W may come out with an updated version of the 800 Series in a couple of months or so. Relatively speaking, I don't think I have reached that point of ridiculousness yet. So I wait and see.
In my life..if I can pay my bills on time, have money saved in the bank each month, never go without food, have money to share with my family and charities. Then anyone else who tells me how to spend my money after that can kick rocks lmao 🤣👌🎼✨Thank you for watching Xam!

peerguy Believe it or not, it's an iPhone XS Max. This phone records in stereo unlike previous models, and I record my videos in 4K which I believe helps elevate the audio as well 👌🎼✨

very nice system put together "over many years". Lots of enjoyment. Curious - this might be a question anyone can answer. The C2600 is not a processor. But yet, a subwoofer is connected. Is he simply running the main speakers full range and using another analog or digital output from the C2600 to subwoofer?
The 2600 is a 2 channel stereo preamp. It has 2 sets of preouts. One to the amp and one for anything else. They output a full range signal. Since it is a stereo preout, you can run it to the subs stereo input which uses the subs internal crossover & not the LFE input that needs an external crossover like a processor. The fronts are receiving a full range signal from the amp as well, yes. Hope this helps & thanks for watching! 👌🎼✨
@@vpconcepts9838 - perfectly explained! guess that leads on another "sub connection" question, then, with the C2600. Since the 2nd pre-out is full range, is the user then *required* to run (2) XLRs for L+R to the sub (for 1 SUB that is)? Or will running only 1 (mono) result in the user losing out on information on the one side not connected to the sub? (I'm eyeing a C2700; read all the mcintosh downloads, and for the life of me, cant figure out how to install just 1 sub (without purchasing a separte electronic crossover). And it's clear he's doing it here... (albeit, i think he has 2 subs, though he only showed 1 in the video.) thanks
