Beautiful coats but it's almost like going through a catalogue - so impersonal... I miss the old videos with the warmth, friendliness, great sense of humour, beautiful smile and lovely decor. It felt like you really related to and cared about your viewers. But it's your channel and I hope you are enjoying doing this new style of videos.
Agreed - I understand very well that Emma H. wants to create some additional distance between her personal life and her channel here on RU-vid. But, at the same time, I feel like these recent videos may have taken it a bit too far - whilst the videos have been beautifully made, they are not very engaging and, as you said, rather impersonal. Here, for instance - the most personal part of a person, the face, is not in frame, there's a voice-over which gives a more formal and detached overall feeling, and mellow background music. This could be almost anyone; I'm not getting much feel of a person, and thus stopped paying attention halfway through. I'm sure there is a happy medium to be found between the current and previous styles of videos - perhaps sticking to filming in the studio or other less personal spaces, but having Emma back on screen in her full beautiful persona?
@@meriumi I agree with you too! To me, the fact that the presentation was "headless" was almost uncomfortable. As if it was telling us, I don't really want to be seen any more, I want to stay far from you all, but I have to make this video and get as many likes as possible. A very strange feeling but it's probably just me and I hope I'm wrong. Because I hope that Emma still enjoys doing what she does. Impersonal or not, videos like this take a long time to be made. I do respect and understand the need for privacy, but as you said if someone still wants to be an 'influencer', there is a happy medium to be found. There are lots of examples of happy, successful people who have found that balance.
@@meriumi my thoughts exactly! I had made a similar comment on the last video. I guess we just miss her personality. Emma is so expressive!! That's what I love about her! But above all, I hope she's feeling well and still having fun and enjoying filming :)

Beautiful coats, thanks Em. I like a coat that is long, full at the bottom, and without a back vent, for maximum warmth. It’s also nice if it buttons high on the chest, because it works better than a scarf at cutting the wind there, where I feel the cold the most (or in addition to a scarf), but I haven’t seen that style recently.
If you offered me just one coat, I would find it very hard to choose! Such a lovely selection! The Curated coats look so good, and of course the MaxMara was such a good find. I thought I had a coat problem, but I'm way behind you!
I did try on the H&M grey coat last year and at 5'3 I was drowning in it, lol. They all look great on you, though. The Max Mara one looks like the softest, cosiest blanket that somehow you get to wear and look chic in.

Wow,beautiful! I bought two coats this year and I live in the desert in California it doesn’t get that cold. I watch these videos and thought I want a new coat I want a coat like that I’ll probably wear it once maybe. It must get really cold in London England.
i'm quite curvy in the hips so long coats don't fit me well , so when Emma introduced us to the Pea coat in a video i think last year it was a winner with me - a lovely looking smart shorter coat but goes just over the hips and fits like a dream . i now own one in navy and found one in grey from H&M on ebay last month for a steal :)
Beautiful coats! I had my eye on the Curated classic coat but I've had such bad experiences shopping with them (and dealing with the customer service) that I don't think I can support a brand like that. It's really too bad because their coats and sweaters are absolutely gorgeous.
Can you please tell me the size of a black Mango one or is it your usual size because I want to buy it in camel color and the site recommend me S in 55% and XS in 45%. And half of my coats are xs and half of them are s, so I don't know what to order

Would you ever wear leather pants/leggings with your wool coats? Iv'e been seeing a few women wearing leather pants/leggings lately, I think long wool coats look very classy on women and I've always loved seeing women in wool coats.
Hi Emma, love your coats - could you recommend which brands work for tall women, i.e. with nice long sleeves? Wish brands would list sleeve length in their size guides, I constantly have to send stuff back! And tall brands rarely offer quality fabrics etc. Thanks for your great content!
I would suggest trying one with a more oversized fit as the sleeves tend to be a little longer - such as the Dark Brown &Other Stories and the Max Mara one ❤️

I would probably say that the Max Mara/Arket navy blue/&other stories dark brown are probably the warmest, but anything that has an oversized fit and can fit a nice chunky jumper underneath works well for warmth - depending on your preference ❤️
