But the most used tool of all (the drill) is on the bottom! We do a ton of installation work in Atlanta area and Ive tried all of these and usual just wind uo with a roller cart. I do love the idea!!

Welcome to the Milwaukee life... you just started a drug addiction you can’t kick. I should send you a picture of all the boxes & packout system stacked in my living room, just from A/V installation needs. I have the older cases (9-10 boxes) before the pack out system came out for most of my install accessories. Completely worth it though when I’m on Installation jobs instead of having to run to the store and I just keep the boxes stocked... Wait till you start getting tools Life gets a little better and batteries last longer making want to get more Milwaukee tools...

I'm always interested in tools and that looks awesome, I'm a Dewalt guy though... just a suggestion anyway to mount the chargers inside the top of the lowest piece. To help get them out of the way and be able to use them maybe when the lid is open? If I see or have any other suggestions I'll edit this... I'm only 1/2 way in.

Why does the Milwaukee crate have a smaller footprint than the rest of the cases. It looks to be 1-2" shallower and narrower than the other cases. The latching system seems less than robust. I bought the Ridgid stack and love it. IMHO, Ridgid has a slightly heavier gauge of plastic and a slightly simpler design with fewer tabs or nubs to break off. The stack has an 22" x 13.5" X 18" deep base with sturdy wide wheels and a heavy duty handle designed to stand up to twisting. Next is a 12" deep tool box and a 6.5" deep organizer case. There is a 13.5" deep milk crate size open top basket for bulky and last minute items. Each case has has rubber gasket in the lid to keep out water and fold up latches that latch the case to the case above it. The latches snap back in the lower box when not in use. The latches are sturdy 3/16 steel wire with molded rubber so you can use them as carrying handles. I use the bottom case for cables and heavy items, the tool box larger items like pouches, wireless gear, smaller lighting, etc. and the organizer for small items and cameras. If you are looking for a portable rollaboard case solution that holds lots of weight, this is the ticket. Right now, Xmas 2020, Home Depot has the basic 3 box stack, base and two toolboxes, for $99 with free shipping to your door. For a small sound company or band, this makes a great total solution for all the bits and pieces that make up a system. A digital mixer like the XR18 in a soft case and soft sided mic case fits nicely in the tool box. All of the cables and larger items in the base. The top box for small stuff and a basket for last minute things. All in a stack with wheels and handle that latches together and is less than 3' tall without the basket. Three drawbacks: The organizer has a plastic insert panel that closes off the lid. Remove the panel and you regain almost 2" of height inside the case. The cases have large bright orange Ridgid logos. Some black spay paint took care of that. If you stack more than 3 cases, then the rollaboard handle does not have sufficient clearance for my knuckles and I have to hold the handle palm out which is awkward.

i used the Ridgid tool box rolling case.. half the price and it works the same IMO.. don't get me wrong.. I'm a Milwaukee fanboy.. all my power tool is Milwaukee Fuel M12/18

If I remember correctly the rigid and milwaukee are made by the same people. They just don't make all of other Fancy stuff milwaukee has (chargers radios etc)

@@LucasWasson yeah.. tool wise I have milwaukee but i use the Ridgid Pro Gear cart.. i like how it locks in better than the milwaukee without having to slide and holds the same and about 1/3 the cost.. and its in black and the build is pretty good..

@@deejayduy yeah that's pretty valid. If dewalt was cheaper I'd do that purely for the looks. I'm on Makita and from what I've seen their storage isn't good so I'll be shopping elsewhere

@@LucasWasson honestly man.. the Ridgid IMO is the best buy and holds the same amount and build quality is great.. I have 3 set.. best part is the fact that its black and it doesnt stick out.. i gaff tape the orange label/handle.. check it out.. you wont be disappointed.. if so, let me know your reasons

i knooooooooo! I started with dewalt, then bought some bosch stuff, plus random stuff from harbor frieght. Looking to buy nothing but Milwaukee moving forward.

@@DjWooPig I'm there with ya. Had Ryobi someone gave me a DeWalt. The dewalt blew up so I tried Makita and I'm sticking to it now. I was thinking about using pack out for xlr storage before and seeing this has revived the thought
