Jenny, I hope I spelled it right if not I apologize. I watched your first video and decided to subscribe for couple reasons actually. One there is no females making poker videos. Two I love to see woman playing poker and kicking butt especially since most men think they are better than them they under rated not so much now days but 25 years ago when I started they were. Three I just wanted to see how good you are and if you record not only your good but bad hands as well. Also finally to see if I can add my help or opinion not that you have to listen or take it as this is your game and show do as you wish. I just want to at least support and hope you have great success not only on the poker table but in your volg as well. Good luck, God bless and I will continue to watch and hope you do well. Jay from Tennessee 😎
Really loving the vlogs so far!! I'm also an Aussie and moved to Vegas in Jan-23 to play poker around my fully remote job. Currently playing 1/3 & 2/5, and studying to improve my game and move up. Hope you continue to document your journey!🙂
Congrats Jenny D! 2.43k subscribers after first vlog….definitely content & face that people want to see. Nice work. Look forward to your WSOP vlog someday & winning the whole damn thing. 🌹🌹🌹
For the Venetian's new room I always park on the Palazzo side and you can take the elevators from the parking garage right to the shops level, don't even have to cross the floor/go up the escalator.
Glad I got to join your table during the MUG. Definitely a lot of fun! Sorry I didn't have a chance to tell you I enjoyed your first vlog before you left. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for sharing your backstory! Although you commented on your last video that editing was no joke, I think you’re doing an amazing job. I love your little hero and villain graphics! I also like that you included your times with your friends as well. I am looking forward to your future videos.👍🏼💖
Wow I'd love to work remote from Vegas and go to the casinos on the weekends!!! You have my dream life! I'll live vicariously through you. Keep the vlogs going. 🥰Subscribed👍
Great job. I really interested in the poker math chart you were showing on how you played some of your hands. I'd love to hear more about it and how to use it. Maybe make a video on how you approach the game. Math vs. Emotion or something like that. Keep up the good work!
Keep the vlogs coming! great start, looking forward to seeing more. If you could include some more GTO screenshots and your opponent's ranges as you see them that would be 🔥
Great to see u came thru with the 2nd vlog! Love the back story; not too different to myself with the break and a trigger to get u back on to the scene again! 😊. The hand with villain going all in on the river and showing u ace of spades… think he must have had it? Also Korean bbq looked delicious 😋 Also love the fact u set a goal and started back at the bottom and are grinding on the weekends while still working full time! Amazing stuff Jenny! ❤
I have been watching vlogs for years and all I can say is this for you: these so far are fun to watch. Keep evolving keep at it. The vlogs are not meant to be perfect in real time but you'll get the hang of it. And when you get to vlog #50 or 100 or 250, you'll see that evolution. Good luck on your journey.
2nd blog is here, glad you decided to keep it up and you have gained another 1,500 subscribers. nice to hear about your background and watch your future videos.
Hey Jenny great content and hope you keep making vlogs and can they be a bit longer in a session to see more of your play and explaining of your decisions 😊 love your accent and welcome to vegas hope we can meet sometime and talk more poker and go play have you thought about coaching at all??
I liked the video but would prefer to see detailed win -loss rate per session as to better gauge how I compare. Just my thoughts - and to end on a positive note, I will reiterate that I love the charts showing if it is profitable to bet/check/fold and the best bet sizing amounts. Keep up the good work.
Was that Jaman Burton offering Jeff $200 for his bounty?? Lol. Also, in the K♠️4♠️hand where you folded river to that $200 bet from your opponent and you showed them just the K♠️for top pair on that board (and they reciprocated by showing a single A♦️)? I learned my lesson the hard way down here in Florida playing 5/10, 10/25, etc to STOP doing that, lol; showing on occasion is completely fine but in your specific case I learned that it's just giving your opponent way, way too much free information which they will then utilize against you relentlessly and continue getting you to fold top pair in addition to other middling hands. Just my two cents on that. Also, the graphics could use better identifying factors on the cards themselves; making them bigger was improvement number one so good job on that, but figuring out the suits continues to be quite difficult sometimes when it's two cards of the same color so perhaps make them more easily readable per se? Happy to see you make it to vlog #2 and can't wait for the next one. Cheers!
Cool to see more ladies with an interest for poker, thanks for sharing your background! Don't you suffer from the extremely dry weather in Vegas? We live in Hong Kong and visited Vegas during Xmas last year, after a few days I had a painful nose with blood clots on the inside, would really need time to acclimatize. Good luck!
Great vid. Curious, what are your feelings about checking the turn that final hand to feint being weary of the flush as well in hopes of opp stabbing at the river? (especially if the river comes up with a blank)
Great stuff! Entertaining. Unsolicited advice - text (pot, stack size etc) can still be a bit bigger and card graphics can be bigger and more in focus; most ppl watch on a phone. Footage of driving and walking through casino can be sped up a touch. Looking forward to more!
Hi. I just found your channel. Here's some quick thoughts... I don't recommend filming and talking while you're driving. You're taking an unnecessary risk. Until you get more experience, you could totally go over your hands once you're back home. You're good in front of the camera and you communicate well. Like a lot of people, I love the Vegas atmosphere. If you'd like to include more about the lifestyle and restaurants that would be cool. Good luck to you with your channel. New sub.
Well done! Only bit of advice would be to pace yourself. It seems that many vloggers go all out when they start and burn themselves out. One vlogg every week or two is plenty.
Nice Job on the 2nd vlog. I am a new york Player actually. It is too bad you didnt play while here since there are tons and tons of games going on daily and all hours pretty much. In any event my flight is booked arriving december 6th and look forward to playing some poker with ya and stacking ya lol....
888 for Korean Bbq if haven’t tried. Better to stick with just weekend games. 2/5 is much much softer than the 5/10 and larger games at Wynn. Maybe I’ll see you down there
My suggestion is use a deck with bigger numbers and letters to help old guys like me see better lol. Ttuff to read when you're watching it from a mobile device
Hi Jenny! am a poker fan! slightly irrelevant because I was once an International students in the States, but curious to know if you are on a long-term visa that made you committed to move to Las Vegas?
Enjoyed the backstory🙂 At ~8:00 minute mark you mentioned "1 hour of study ", what kind of poker study do you do? Like the figurines above the cards 👌...
Wait! Why is your steering wheel on the right side? Good vlog! Do you have a goal to play poker full time if you get to the level where you can make 5x your salary playing poker?
At what range of age did you take the decision to go pro? Reason I ask is because I'm on my 30's and I am going to take the step, but of course I'm always doubting if I'm on too old to give this a try.
@JennyD Poker, I believe she had Ad9d. (14:15) When the dealer went to wash the cards, it looked like she put her down card on the bottom of the deck and proceeded with her shuffle. I could be wrong, but it definitely looks like it. Lmk what you think. :)
