Elementary crushes were fucked up man... I got stuck with this one kid who "liked me" in my classes from 2-4 and he treated me terribly. The teachers at my school were not the best and turned a blind eye to all the things this kid did. For one he was extremely violent if people didnt do whatever the hell he wanted, he used extremely vulgar laungage towards me, and was touchy. Those were probably some of the worst years of my life, I could never do the whole dating or crush thing after that.

Your online relationship reminds me a lot like my old relationship back in middle school. In 7th grade I made friends with this girl, she was in a online relationship with another girl but would flirt with me. I didn't take the flirting seriously as I thought of it as platonic flirts like the ones you do with close friends as a joke. I reciprocated and after her and her then girlfriend broke up we got together. I wasn't the most attracted to her I just didn't feel that way. I hadn't liked anyone at all yet as I never paid any focus into crushes, but our friends really pushed for us to get together so I did. We were more friendly with occasional kisses. While she was affectionate she saw me more of a therapist. She'd more then often just talk to me about her issues and would follow up with things like "I'd probably kill myself if you ever broke up with me" which scared the shit out of me. We're only 12/13! One time she gave me a bloody nose and never exactly apologized, another time when we were gonna go to a donut place she told me not to eat sugar. As the playful person I am I ate sugar, in her response she stormed towards me, put me in a choke hold and when I couldn't breathe she let go and punched my arm saying she was breaking up with me. I was in tears and couldn't stop crying at that point I felt like a punching bag. What made it worse was that my friends saw and didn't stop or chew her out for it. I stormed off but a good friend came and comforted me. The next day I was the one apologizing for being me, not HER purposely hurting me and my feelings. The relationship went into a downfall after that, she eventually broke up with me on Instagram stories, in my opinion she was wrong for putting our relationship on blast like that. I also think she did it for sympathy. I'm currently in 11th grade but last year one of my cadets in a team I command in JROTC told me that she was telling her about how I was so abusive. I was pissed but my boyfriend calmed me down. (I do love my boyfriend and he was the second crush I had)

I’m sorry you had to go through that. I been through what I call my own story. Lots of bad choices yes, but we all eventually learn from it. What I’m saying is that I hope you find peace with yourself. I have yet to find peace with myself as well.

As someone who has had some of the similar relationship issues you've had, I'd suggest not worrying too much about being in a relationship. Look inwards and think about what you would need in a romantic partner that would set them apart from just being friends.

I relate a bit to dating someone you are not attracted to. I didn't know I was Ace in High School and when a friend asked me out I was like "sure" It happend a couple times but I was too dense to actually get what the guys were up to. One guy asked me to prom and I feel bad in hindsight because I didn't hang out with him as much and was too awkward to dance (I didn't go to any other dances after that cause the music was awful and loud). The other guy asked me to date. I hadn't before and was like sure why not, it will get my parents off my back. YEAH being aesexual really messes with things in dating and I just could never be comfortable giving him affection because I had no idea what I wanted from it. I was just there. :p We broke up over one of our nightly phone calls. He was a nice guy, called me every night to talk and one night we just realized it wasn't working and were like K. I'm glad it didn't drag on for my sake and his.

I had the same exact thing happen to me like u and Lindy. It was so draining having to worry and deal with someone else’s problems. I feel like I used up my entire 2020 year being anxious and depressed worrying myself to death. My ex was so manipulative and made me feel like shit. I always felt like the reason she was depressed and suicidal because of the way she talked to me and treated me. I never called the police or told her parents because I never knew if she was faking being suicidal or not. Ive had so many sleepless nights wondering if she would be alive the next day. I truly loved this person too. I can’t believe I let myself be used and mistreated. I’m glad I’m not in that relationship anymore. My ex got therapy and help too which is amazing! But I will never let this happen to me again.

Isnt this like ..the norm now ? XD people just play it safe and dont care if they are alone since they usually know what they want and its hard to get it XD. Back in the day 60s 80s ect people were forcing and compromising a lot to be with somone do to lack of life experience and those weren't happy relationships ;/ Its better to play it safe, search with caution and not try to force things. Living alone isn't as bad as living with someone you don't want to be with.

Love is like any artistic piece you will fail over and over and over you will reach to point in a drawing when you are almost done and is not looking right and you have to start over again but you just need that one good drawing to make everything worth it, I hope you find soon an amazing guy/girl in your life that will make you happy.

I know how you feel. I have a history of bad relationships as well and im done with them and trying to find the right person. Mostly gotten cheated on 24/7 and left behind a lot. It was a horrible rollercoaster of emotions that wasted so much time.

I would say my second/last relationship was the worst one I had. It was with a boy I knew ever since middle school. We didn’t start a relationship until I was a senior in high school. Most of the relationship was great, but it drastically changed after I found out that he cheated on me after I went to the ROTC ball with him on February of 2020. I was contacted by a friend of his and she explained that he was having very explicit conversations with a friend of hers. I was in the middle of class, so I asked if I could use the restroom. I just stepped out of the classroom, sitting against the wall and cried because I was cheated on before and I didn’t want it to happen again. I confronted him after that class and was yelling at him about how he’s a piece of shit for cheating bc I was giving him 110% of my time, attention, and energy and I broke up with him. I keep on getting messages from him to this day about how he’s sorry and he just wants to be friends. I don’t reply to him at all. He did a whole bunch of other gross shit for attention, but I won’t make this longer than it has to be. This is why I have trust issues now. Edit: Another reason I left him was because he was one of those people who threatened to off himself if I dared to speak my mind which, by the way, he suggested that I should do bc I’m very meek and I don’t like speaking my mind sometimes.

i always had issue trying to show my emotions and speaking to girls of my interest, even more if even thought of asking them out for an date, the most close i got to a relationship is a kiss. my college didnt was a good place, i looked like the worst people in town that got rejected by other schools where sent to my school. if i was dating a girl i dont think i would be able to ask for nudes, i would melt in a pile of shyness and fear. how much shy i am, i cant understand how other men are so unafraid of asking girls to satisfy their sexual needs without proper engagement, like: "hey! we have been dating for a week, its time to f*ck." if i where to say "hey! we have been dating for a week, its time to f*ck." to a girl, i probably would die of heart attack before i couldnt even finish the sentence. i think the problem with is that i am so respectful to women, trying no to look like an asshole that they think i am not interested in them because i dont show enough sign of interest.

As someone that has had unhealthy thoughts in the past i know how it feels to need that confirmation from a friend mainlyto know if you.do go, someonewill miss you and you shouldn'tgo through with it. It would be nice to have someone be there for you in your time of need, but you cant do that all the time and sacrifice your own mental health for theirs. Who will take care of you while you take care of them? You should help by giving them advice to get actual help. Doctors, therapy, if its clear they're about to do something and its possible get them to a hospital.

Okay. This video is pretty good but I do think there needs to be some criticism with the Lindi story. To use terms and phrases like “nutcase”, “unstable”, “insane” for someone who is mentally ill is really stigmatizing??
