Another fine day of tiny car racing! Looking fantastic out there, you'll turn yourself into a racer yet (LOL)! Some nice clean lines for the most part, but you'll be looking to hold that inside line a little more often sooner than you think. Love how you have so many options for tracks where you are. My closest outdoor track is 30min away, and the next closest for outdoor off road is the other side of a border and 2 hours away. That said, they did have a fantastic barn race this last weekend past (almost an hour away) which was fantastic to watch, sadly I didn't participate due to sports events. It was primarily 1/8 scale (Nitro Buggy, Nitro Truggy, Nitro 40+, Ebuggy Sportsman, Ebuggy Spec (use distributed tires only), Ebuggy Expert) with some 1/10 thrown in (4wd Buggy, 2wd Buggy, 4wd SCT, 2wd SCT). Drove to it to watch a few races, and watch our local hero turn some fantastic laps in (he ended the 2nd day in 3rd after the triple mains in Sportsman). We mostly had out of towners from as far away as Nova Scotia (we're in Vancouver BC) and a few from Saskatoon too (middle of Canada roughly). I now have 2 ebuggies of my own (1 for the kid, 1 for the old man), and have to build one of them (one is slightly used), and looking forward to trying that at a few races in June and August. Thanks for sharing as always Paul, looking forward to the next one! Fhuz oot.
This track is so wide I get away with my "Wide Line" approach LOL. Yerhh I am lucky track wise. One, and maybe the only good part of living in such a small country. Most things are close. We have a race coming up that is on grass. Didn't go to it last year. Must admit I don't feel inspired to try it this year either. Mud and stuff is for bashers not Race cars. TBH. I have never stripped and cleaned my race buggies and I don't intend to start now after running in mud. Plus chances are the weather over here in the UK it will probably piss down with rain. Cheers for tuning in. Great News on Send us pics of your Ebuggies on Facebook when you can. Would love to see what ya got.
