i seem to remember you saying that you had an Aodelan bluetooth remote. I’ve been looking through reviews of this on amazon UK and a few people have said that there’s stopped working after a while. If you have one, is yours still working OK? Thanks.
Just tested, still works fine, and quite possibly still on the original battery too! I suspect those reviews might be simply user error--it took me several times of struggling with the thing before I finally started consistently remembering that it only works if the camera is in one of the self-timer drive modes (the remote itself can be switched between instant shutter or 2-second delay, which is useful when doing macro on a tripod to let vibrations subside). BR-E1A is the specific Aodelan model I have, not sure if they've come out with any new versions.
