My Big Sister Bought Her New Motorcycle!!! 

Definitely good advice, especially for a beginner rider such as myself. I'm 6' 4" tall, weigh 210 pounds, and starting out on a Vulcan 900 custom. All of my friends have cruiser style bikes and I like the seat height, position, of my bike. It's a big bike but not super crazy powerful (just over 50 hp) and about 600 pounds. Have fun and stay safe.

Even when the skills are better you still have much more fun on the smaller bikes lol

@@Thevoicebehindthehelmet thank you. Until my bike gets inspected (since I bought it used and didn't get to talk to the previous owner) I'm learning on my buddy's Suzuki RZ ? 250 (4 stroke) dirt bike. If the Vulcan doesn't work out I can always check something else out. Safe riding to you.

Been riding 40 years, the best place to learn is dirt bike first! If you can ride a dirt bike over fallen tree, unexpected drop off, or mud and water....you are ready for any street bike. We didnt have beginner bikes, it was whatever you could afford, or a Harley! Mostly old Honda 750's, everything else was broke or slow. 18yrs old 1970 Honda with a sissy bar extended forks, custom paint, and seat....$200 rode it home sold it 4 years later for $200 the good ole days! (which made the kickstand sketchy on any surface, sometimes had to lean it on a building or pole!)
