I have also been learning how to bowl skate the last few months. Spent about 8 hours yesterday at a friend's shop skating his bowl and hanging with some cool folks. Finally unlocked frontside carving in the bowl. Heading to indoor park today to try to get the 50/50 stall and maybe try dropping in. Keep shreddin and putting out great content!!!!

After discovering your channel a few months ago and showing my friends how incredible longboarding really is, they actually got me a longboard for my birthday. I've been obsessed with it ever since. I've watched your trick tutorial videos probably like a thousand times by now. I'm just so stoked on getting better and better day by day. My goal for 2021 is to definitely expand the longboarding/skating community where I live since the sport isn't quite popular here. This series is awesome. For the longest time now, I’ve been the only one among my friends that wanted to learn freestyle and dance, so it’s really hard to get stoked about learning new things when everyone around me just wants to cruise. That’s started to change a bit now that I’ve met new people and convinced them to learn new tricks, but still videos like these are my main source of excitement to learn and improve, even if it’s not longboard dancing, so thank you for this

This definitely makes me want to skate more. As a kid I was always fascinated with skateboarding. Started of with a regular skateboard to a cruiser board and then found my way to a longboard for a couple years. Just recently I got myself a skateboard after 7 yrs. I'm excited to get back to it and skate the city! Can't wait to see the progress you make skating!😄

I'm giving the NYE resolution a try (I was always afraid of then because I was scared of not following through and being disappointed in myself but I feel like 2022 will be THE year to push myself out of my comfort zone). So: 1. Get out of my comfort zone and stop being a hermit 2. Conquer fear of dropping in 3. Learn French (and possibly Russian) 4. Work on a big movie project Hope I can go back at the end of 2022 to this comment and say: Y'all, I did it.

Just started skating. Your videos have been a real inspiration for me. Especially since you started to learn 'normal' skating as I was longboarding for a while but have only now started to try do tricks in a skateboard. Thanks for the vids. Keep up the good, inspiring work.

I dont mind rewatching and commenting lol. Awesome video Natalie! Thank you for letting us see your progression skating and trying new things out even through fear. What I learned in this video is to not spend too much time thinking about the obstacle that’s right in front of you but to just do it. The more you think about it the more you’ll talk yourself out of doing it. I appreciate you Nat!

nice progress. never been on a skatebowl even though i have skated since the 1970's. would be nice to do some in '22. need to find a teacher though, as i'll never startwithout. too scared of coming home with a broken bone.

The initial progression in any new activity is always so fun! Any tips on how to land my first big spin?

break the trick down into separate steps. work on landing the trick with one foot first after locking down the motion, then try and land it with ur opposite foot. once ur comfortable, full send and commit yo! keep ur chest over the board and always practice ur tricks while moving rather than in a stationary position. that takes alot or balls, well guts in this case. im a beginer n i messed up my ankle so badly on a ramp today. i kinda fell down like a bitxh n my back foot was still on the board so i sprained the shit out of it. jt hurt so badly, probably not the best idea to go on the high ramp on my first visit to the skatepark
