I'm pretty sure these home renovation shows are NOT telling us the whole truth, but don't you worry. I will! I have had some MAJOR home renovation wins at this house (the Cambria kitchen counters, the storefront picture windows, and the Redwood Outdoor Spa) but there have been even major disappointments and set backs. I had to fire my general contractor because he was trying to scam me and damaged my property, so I then became my own GC on the project and I have learned SO much. I am actually thinking about going to get my general contractor license here in the next couple of months just to better equip myself for future projects that are coming down the pipeline. Has anyone gotten their GC license? Send me any tips you have!!
Anyhoo, long story short is that there 100% be moments during a home renovation where you want to cry or pull your hair out, but there are also moments that make it all worth it and that's exactly how I feel about my Redwood Outdoors sauna and cold plunge tub!! This backyard is "epic" on steroids because of them!
