That Sindy Kitty is fascinating. I rarely see molds being used in multiple lines like that, I've only heard about belts being reused from MyScene for Monster High G1. Very fun! Also, Peachy was my first older MLP and Golden Dream was my first vintage Barbie ever! Obviously I did not grow up with them because I'm still a teenager, but I found them thrifting in 2018. It's very sweet to see them looking so complete and nice, unlike my super beat up ones.
It is actually a very common thing to reuse molds within toy companies across toy lines especially in the 80s and 90s since the production of making new molds is/was one of the most expensive steps in toy production. So especially for little accessories that were not too obvious, it made sense for saving a little bit of money in production. Cool you have discovered also toys from before your time 🥰
Jewel Hair Mermaid Barbie is one of my absolute favorites! ❤ I got her from my beloved grandmother as a christmas gift, isn't that a coincidence!? And I still have her left with all the accessories in good condition. 🥰 Just like you I had a real Barbie christmas that year, my mother gave me the Barbie kitchen and the Esmeralda doll from The Hunchback of Notre Dame (that one with the purple dress and the white bonus dress with bells). I hope I can get Jewel Hair Mermaid Midge and Teresa someday so I have them all. Earlier this year I bought the My Little Pony Panini Stickers album, totally new with no stickers in it, I'm so happy about that! 🥰 So if I get any stickers to it I will not put them in the album, I will keep them as collectible cards instead. So beautiful! 😍 And oh my goodness, that Jewel Hair Barbie is in such good condition! I had no idea their hair was THAT long. I just got the "skirt/fin" in a lot recently but it's sadly very beat up. The Birthday barbie is also one of my childhood barbies. I could've swear that she came with blue earrings & ring! She's a european one, got her from Switzerland. So I always thought that the US doll had the bday sling and the "pearl jewelry", and the Eurean one had no sling and the blue jewelry. About ballet shoes, they look like Sindy's.

Great gifts 🤩 I have that same MOC Sindy outfit coming to me in the mail right now! Is the puppy not also from a lil litters mold? I can't see it very well on the backcard but I think it may be the long eared lil litters one, so a different mold than the pup that came with the baby pony 😊
Oh how fun, you also will get the Sindy Good Night collection outfits 😉And you might be right about the little puppy figure. It might be the upright sitting one from the poodles and spaniels. I'm not too familiar with the Little Litters as I have never seen any in real life and never researched them too heavily😅 I'm more familiar with the 3 animals from the Best Friends Ponies (Baby Pony with Mini Friend in German) and that was the dalmation dog mold from the Little Litters.
That is really sweet of you 💖💖💖 but I really want to find Crystal Barbie myself at the flea market which must be possible since I've found the dress 3 times already while toyhunting🤣And btw. I'm not able to replace arms.😅 Sure the dream date outfit would be nice but for now she is wearing the Crystal dress and once I found a Crystal Barbie she will wear the Springtime Magic dress since it is very possible she actually came as this doll here in Europe.
