My birthday trip to TOFINO // hot springs cove + remote kayaking in Clayoquot Sound (I saw a whale!) 

On this trip I visited Hot Springs Cove, went on a remote kayaking tour in the heart of Clayoquot Sound, and stayed at an airbnb that is just steps from Chesterman Beach. A pretty epic way to spend a birthday, if you ask me. Tofino is one of my favourite places on Vancouver Island!
My birthday gift to myself this year is a new telephoto lens for my camera to use for wildlife photography/videos. In this video I test out my new Canon RF 100-500mm lens on the Canon R5 mirrorless camera. We saw a few eagles, a sea lion, and a grey whale! I'm excited to keep practising with this new lens and share the content with you! (all my camera gear is inked below if you're curious)
