Thank you for mentioning the “wing flap” my Macaw does it ALL the time and I thought he did it to show aggression! I looked it up and couldn’t find any information
There are two things that I see in Jinx is that he is curious about everything did he get into a lot of mischief when he was younger? The other is that he loves making you all laugh. When I had my Cockatiel he was motivated by things that made us laugh as well, as a treat or two.
My alexandrine parakeet called mom after 2 years of having him, i was awstruck cause he didn't speak much till date but now he is doesn't keep his mouth shut.
Love when Jinx calls himself Ba Ba, and when he Woo Woo's. So funny towards the end when he flew, then came back with a startled look, Jinx is a definite favorite, but to be honest I really love all your birds. Jamie, Thank you for giving me a giggle, and see you soon.
My conure is the same way when I go on vacation or something. I HAVE to just chill next to his cage for a bit before I dare touch him. He gets butthurt that I would ever leave him 😂
wow what a bird in all the known galactic universe ther will never be a macaw as inteligent ,beautiful, or adorable as jinxy give him a kiss on his beak for me
LOL! I about lost it when he said "Wooooo" as you rolled him over. I also got a kick out of the synchronized laugh you did together. Jinxi is freaking hilarious hahaha! Oh and btw, those are some sharp designs on the merch, and I totally agree with the slogan! I really enjoyed the Q&A format. On to the next bird!
omg my quaker does the same thing, he hits me with his beak and growls 😂😂 mostly when he wants to be picked up and taken somewhere, hopefully when his flight feathers grow it he may grow out of it
my Indian ringneck does the finger moving thing too, when I ask him to step up I would put my hand an inch away from him so he would step away if he doesn't want to step up, but if wants to step up he would grab my finger and pull it closer to him and then steps up, which is so cute !! He only does it when I wanna take him out of his cage though !
I also love it when my Greenwing groom's my hair, it's a bit ouchie but it's because she loves me. Personally I live the 'Woooo' my Lulu does it to. Macaws have such a hilarious accent. Not the best talkers but can't beat the enthusiasm 💕
My bird learned to say “Who’s the baby” and “Pretty bird” within a month of me getting him. Now 3 years later, those are the only things he says and I’ve tried many other phrases and spend a lot of time with him. The funny thing is he loves to say “Who’s the baby” but in a thousand different tones the way Groot says “I am Groot” - When he wants attention he says it all sweet, when he’s mad he screams it at me, and so many more. 😂
I love Jinx so much! 😩❤️ I also have a blue throated macaw, but she’s just a baby (about 1 year old). We love her sooo much but she is sooo difficult sometimes. She already talks more than almost any macaw I’ve ever seen and is very loving, but she also does everything from biting to refusing food. I think I speak for all btm owners when I say they’re one of the most bipolar macaw types😂😂
My jenday does the baby bird wing flip on occasion lol I’ve seen many ppl video and ask in Facebook groups why their conure does it and didn’t realize macaws do too😍😍and his “bubba” is my fave❤️
My seven year old says that one reason Macaws are endangered is because of people keeping them as pets. Also that having a RU-vid channel about macaws contributes to more people having macaws as pets.
I always enjoy your terrific videos, & this one is no exception...I'm sorry, but I literally cracked up about Jinxie's "punishing" you for leaving him....Years ago I had THE most spoiled, but sweet well-behaved Airedale Terrier who loved everybody he met...Mack was always friendly to everyone...Once after having to take him to this wonderful local boarding place (our vet raved about) to board him for 2 weeks while we had to go abroad, we were SO excited to finally get back home to pick him up (immediately from leaving the airport) that we were actually shaking...HaHa...However, my little "Brat Boy" pouted for our leaving him all the way home... He sat in the backseat, & refused to look at us while we cooed to him, but he simply refused to engage with us at all...He'd turn his big, sweet, curly head to the side & pretend he didn't hear us...How this rascal was always so LOVED... *: )* It's so good to see Jinx being his normal playful & engaging character... *: )*
Could you do a video on budgies, I recently bought one and she passed away after 2 months of having her, (reasons unknown💔😥) I just want to make sure I’m doing everything right before I get another
we here in Britain had a pet shop, they had one of these beautiful birds in the shop in a small cage for 39 years, he was given a phone book to shred. eventually he got stolen ? i hope it was for the better for the bird .
