This is very similar to what they went through. They were being prosecuted for something they feel they were not guilty. The government does this all the time and are relentless (farmers in SD were raided at gunpoint recently over a fence line dispute). You were sued for something that you feel had no basis. This used to be just the rich California way, but it is becoming more and more common. Unfortunately, you can sue anybody for anything and if the person being sued does not have any money to fight it, they have to settle.

Yeah, it really sucks, the big difference is those I have the constitution on my side as far as the first amendment and my free speech goes, whereas the state of Nebraska had evidence that they hunted and killed turkey without a license and illegally hunted deer in the state. It just sucks that people can use lawfare to silence people that have a dissenting opinion against them. Recently, I’ve talked to a bunch of people in the industry that are being served cease and desist letters after reviewing their beast broadheads. Overall, if they stopped and apologized, I would have no problem, but they just keep ramping up their attacks on anyone and everyone that speaks out.

@@ApexPredatorOutdoors Not just Bowmars that are doing that. There are quite a few companies suing for honest reviews of products. Mostly when they sponsor the video, but there are a few cases where a product was purchased and reviewed independently. Very bad business practice in my opinion. Hopefully they all get what they deserve.

Hate you had to deal with that buddy, I have just been enlightened on the whole situation in Nebraska via the internet. I started out watching their videos just because of the huge framed deer they were harvesting several years back. Wasn’t fond of their personalities or his voice just liked seeing the harvests. After their “controlled burn” video on RU-vid that caught the truck on fire and such I caught immediate “crooked vibes” and quit following them. I’m not interested in their “show.” I just hit your subscribe button homie.

And the fact they haven't made a video about this tells everything you need to know about them. Used to like their videos until I heard about this. But they're boring now anyway just "hunting" over food plots and fruit trees in a "blind"

So many haters, fakers, sheisters, scammers and all around assholes in the outdoor space, hopefully you get all this handled quickly and thank goodness for kind people that will help out to lighten the blow. I completely understand what you mean about hurting your faith in the system, but the truth is god is on the side of the righteous and your path will be laid bare in due time brother. Keep pushing and don’t less this shit keep you from doing what you love!

I don't run it, but I have been in talks with him and some other industry people including an editor for a magazine... They have a laundry list of shit just waiting to drop. They have to stay quiet about the cases though.

@kfranklin308 Yeah… the laws in Tennessee make it too easy to sue someone for bogus reasons, that’s why they do it there, even though they live and operate out of Iowa. Go look at my Odysee page, I have a full video on them over there.
