I had a family member who lost all of the hair on her body while pregnant and it never grew back. Even her eyelashes. Pregnancy dose weird things to the body.
Oh my DAMN this is a new one I’ve never heard. I knew about the teeth thing after my second pregnancy of course lol my poor teeth were already messed up. They’ve always been big and a bit crooked. In childhood one of my teeth got chipped and I haven’t always had access to dental care and in general in my younger years I was dumb and didn’t take proper care of my teeth like I wish that I did. I’m going to most likely end up with dentures in the next 10 years or less. It’s my biggest regret for sure. Truthfully it’s on my top 3 list of things I would change if I could go back in time. The other 2 would be to try and help prevent the people I love from dying of cancer so young.
I was told in a new baby class that the average kid wears 4000+ diapers in their life. The fiance who "wasn't comfortable" changing diapers needs to man up. He's a huge man child. This fiance has already changed 12k diapers with their other kids. He's not even doing the bare minimum. She's better off without him.

I'm pretty sure the day month or year you were born matches this year it is your golden birthday, not a milestone birthday. Milestone birthdays are usually dependent on culture. Like when a child turns 3, 10, or 16. As well as 18 & 21 here in the US. After that, I would consider the decade years to be milestone b-days

Exactly what I was thinking. He’s basically upset at how maids work, but she’s being paid, given housing and being treated well. I know people who do live in work, and that sounds like a dream job for some people. It’s all about perspective

Op with the maid is African or Asian I can guarantee. It's so common for us to have help in the home. I also grew up sith a maid and a landscaper for a big part of my life.we had help with house management and looking after the children. The gardens were always beautiful and pest free. The way out countries are, the unemployment rate is very high so those who make money also give back. Some families put the people who work with them through school or their children. Often the people who work for you are related to you or you know them through a community member. So they live with you because transport is expensive and it's usually easier. Often they're from the village and work during the school year and return home to be with their families. Civil servants have house help. It's not as much of a wealthy people thing.

This! I feel like OP is seeing all the excessive treatment the girlfriend is putting towards the maid. I kind of feel like the girlfriend is probably overworking the maid and most likely doesn’t pay her an adequate amount for the amount of work the maid does around the house. I wouldn’t expect a maid to follow me around to take care of basic things I could do myself.
Yeahhh maybe I'm wrong for feeling this way, but if my partner wouldn't even do the simplest of tasks, I would get a serious ick. I feel like there's a basic level of human decency to clean up after yourself and to be independent unless of course you have physical or medical limitations that prevent this. i think it depends on the state bc where i live if the parents aren't married then the mom automatically has custody and the dad has to take the mom to court to get joint or full custody.

Last story: OP is complaining about the wrong thing. He doesn't have a problem with house chores and who does them or not, he has a problem with how the gf behaves. OP seems to have lost respect for the gf because of her actions and can't quite put it that way. OP's expectations do not align with the gf's way of life, so this relationship will not last long.

So it took my husband telling me once that he thought I was taking out my previous trust issues onto him and he didn’t think it was fair. I was defensive at first. But eventually my little sassy ass calmed down and heard him out and damn it he was right. People can work through their personal and couple problems together or while with each other but you have to acknowledge those problems and actually try to improve on them to better yourself.
The episode with the maid sounds like a story from the very famous movie, and real book ,"The Help". It was set in the South in the 50's or 60's. It was about how even middle class women had black Nannies to raise and mother the mother the children, along with doing everything else. Yet these women didn't have the right to use the front door, or even the same bathroom. It basically was slavery except they received a non liveable income. Some of the families would take care of "The Help" in their old age, but others would just fire them the moment they became old or sick. A woman wrote a story about this, it became a book, and many years later a movie. Although, some things were fictional this was based on real stories. These women would raise their daughters to replace them in the family they cared for. It would be like M'Reginald having a daughter and the daughter gets assigned to op's children. It was mentioned that was how Op's girlfriend ended up with M'Reginald when she turned 18. The M'Reginald's mother works for the mother still. She was raised to care for Op's girlfriend. It's a weird symbiotic almost parasitic relationship. Op's girlfriend would be lost without her other half. I could see OP feeling left out of that parasitic bond. It sounds like M and Op's girlfriend are one person. I understand that this situation can work out great for some people, but I wouldn't be able to be with someone, who although works hard at her job, can't even take basic care of themselves. I also would feel like the third wheel. To each their own. At least M'Reginald will be cared for. It just sounds a little to close to a house slave than a handmaid that gets spending money. With the maid story, I’m at the 41:25 mark: I don’t think that OP cares so much about the maid cleaning up or the gf making a mess. I think it’s frankly an ego and insecurity thing. I think there’s some deep seeded jealousy on OP’s end, and I don’t think she likes just how flippant her gf is with the maid. Like the gf very clearly is used to living with the maid, and the maid is doing her job, but I think OP’s insecure about someone cleaning up after her house, and probably wants to knock her partner down a peg. If someone can afford to pay for it, then there’s simply no job that just _has_ to be done by oneself. This is just because of the fact that OP’s insecure and wants her partner to clean up after herself as well, kinda like to take her down a notch like as to basically treat it like, “now you’re cleaning, so now you’re earning your keep around her.” OP needs to get over herself or do her partner a favor and let her go. I don't think OP is the A-hole for wanting to build a home with her partner that is run by them. I don't think the partner is the A-hole for having different expectations or values. I do think it sounds like the partner is going to be the kind of woman to not parent or spend enough time with her future children and those kids will effectively be basically raised and shown the most love by the maid. Because at this point, it's not just that you have the money to not do things for yourself, it's that you've spent your entire adult life this way and have no practical skills in anything to do with building a home and bonding with your partner and family. It's not a choice. I think she's just lived without needing to know these things and therefore is incapable of them.

S1. Op is an Unreliable narrator. She states that she is always spending her money but yet only helps buy groceries and when spending to much her dad replenishes her funds. She's 29 years old and expects her bf to pay for everything. The amount of $ she says the BF owes her is trivial to the amount he is most likely spending on her. Most people aren't taking 3 vacations a year. The once in a life time trip is also being funded by him. I'm guessing the bf is tired of always spending money on her. She also states that she did something horrible. I'm guessing cheating. They are both walking red flags and need to break up.
