This Abiola's son has the EXACT SAME deep and husky voice as Abiola. But without the stammer. If you've ever heard Abiola speak and you agree with me, give this a thumbs up.
MKO Abiola , olówó to'nfowo ṣàánú, sun ree. Amin. The passing of MKO Abiola was untimely, resulting in complex family matters due to the presence of numerous offspring, which is a common challenge in African families. Black man and hate for one another.
Actually, i have long time been disappointed in Kola Abiola. We thought he would carry on from where his father stopped, but no, he disappointed all lovers of democracy
GOD will definitely judge Abubakar Abdulsalam. The blood of MKO is in his hands and he owes Nigerians a better explanation as to what killed MKO. Though IBB did the damage, but General Abdulsami did the bloodshed. He did it for the NORTHERN COLLABORATORS. GOD ALMIGHTY WILL JUDGE for sure. It is just a matter of time. The funny thing is that this Murderer is parading himself as an elder stateman.
Many Nigerians do not know the mess going on in Abiola family for over 30 yrs. Abiola did leave a will but the will wasn't clear enough on who gets what. And having multiple wives and over 30 children didn't help. So, what ended up happening is his first son, Kola, took everything and cut off other family members except you were on his side. If you challenge him, he came after you with police, military and court, since he has the money and power. So, the entire family has been fighting him since but to no avail. Some of his brothers have genuine intentions, as in, our father's legacy is dying, let's put things in order to reinvent our father's businesses and empire for the good of the family and generational wealth. Kola refused, he controls everything till date yet nothing is working or moving forward. This the point this gentleman is making.
Then it means Abiola had a stupid lawyer or never briefed his lawyers . A lawyer who reads the will ought to make sure everything written on the will is carried out . I don’t think Abiola wrote any will , mumuni was just a child when his father died.
He had a will but it’s vague . First every child has to DNA. Secondly it wasn’t specific on what child gets this. The name on the properties were in his personal name.
If the Will was vague when it was put together, the lawyer would have mentioned it to him. Abiola being a big business man then, his lawyer would definitely sign off on the will so it's legally binding, and he can't do that without going over the document. It seems some of you are beginning to forget the caliber of a man he was . I believe the lawyer and Kola played a dirty game on the family.
It's amazing how he continues to refer to him as " Brother Kola " despite their differences. Imagine Kola dating the daughter of a man who unjustly deprived his father of the presidency and put him in jail where he died. Bad pickin !. Some first sons are the calamity of their families. What a shame !
It’s was in the public domain that Kola Abiola and Aisha Babangida dated way before (years) June 12. I think Jamiu needs to reassess his relationship with his older brother as I think the young man
All said and done, quality education is still the best legacy, not material things, one can bequeath to our offsprings. Nowadays, the wise share their estate in their lifetime to take effect at a specific time down the road road, after enjoying his own from his lifetime hardwork.
Hearing these stories about Abiola's family is not good. If everything I have heard about Kola is true, then the late MKO Abiola will not be pleased with him in his grave. May the needful be done for peace to return to Abiola's family.
The legacy of MKO was mismanaged. From his estate to his brand. Especially the "MKO Abiola" brand. Where are the symposias, where are the charity works in his name. So much could have been done.
Lessons learnt. Be a good business successor don't rely on family's wealth, build yourself Show compassion to family members. Train your children to be successful enterpreneurs
Jamiu is making mischievous statement here against his brother. Kola and Aishat Babangida has been dating since 1991 when Jamiu was just 10years. Babangida and MKO were bossom friends. It was the issue of June 12 cancellation that truncated their marriage. Again, Jamiu is the kettle calling pot black. Did we not know how he and his brother invaded Abiola farms Taraba and sold farm equipments worth 300million naira or the forgery of Deji's signature to sell off Abiola land at Panseke Abeokuta, a case that is still with EFCC. I think Jamiu should respect his brother and family legacy left by their father. We have the secret of his atrocities on record. Seun pls get kola's side of the story and you will be shocked. It's only in Nigeria that people like Jamiu can become Special Assistant without educational certificate.
If the first born had organised the family and not selfish. The guy won't be complaining like this. You said he has no certificate, most people who have educational certificate don't even speak eloquently like this.
@@chuksozigbo4431 This is the direct effect of POLYGAMY. Same reason all of Zik's initiatives collapsed while Awo the Monogamist has his estate intact. Polygamy is one of the pillars of Islamic retrogression. Polygamy distracts men, discounts women, and divides children. Polygamy is a consistent marker of social backwardness. There is no single polygamist who has made any original contribution to human knowledge. No polygamist has ever made a single discovery. No polygamist has ever patented a single invention. The Arabs used to be ahead of the West intellectually. Once the philandering "Prophet" Mohammed made polygamy a revelation of Allah (up to 4 wives to be loved "equally"), the Arabs lost it. Monogamy is a virtue that is its own reward.
@@ibaileibaomo7660 The main problem with polygamy is that it inevitably divides the family. So if you marry one wife and quarrel with her every day, you will be exactly like a polygamist.
All of you shouting polygamy polygamy polygamy is the problem. Late FRA Williams has an estate worth 26B. He was married to 1 wife and has 4 children. The 4 children are still f!ghting over his property till date, their case still dey court. Don't forget FRA Williams was a SAN and also helped to write Nigeria 1979 constitution, but failed to write him own Will, which could have avoided this pr0blem.
All of them shooting polygamy don't really understand the story of Rotimi Williams with one wife and four children. Their case is bad to the extent of writing criminal petitions against each other to strip each other off SAN award
Kola Abiola and Aishat Babangida dated years before the June 12 debacle. Jamiu should either ask questions or stop playing to the gallery. He was too young way back then to either know or comprehend this fact!
That's not a surprise because MKO himself bragged that it's little money that devourers would destroy...that his wealth was beyond what devourers would destroy...he said devourers would enter his wealth and die there - meaning no devourer could ruin his wealth. But, devourers not only ruined his wealth but also took his life. Don't be proud...any billionaire of today can die bankrupt. Fear God and give Glory to HIM! We heard about his dubious transaction in ITT. when he was an Accountant. Build your wealth on truth and righteousness and don't be proud.
The Late Legendary Lawyer And SAN Rotimi Williams Family Is Facing The Same Issue. And He Married Just 1 Wife And Had 4 Kids, Some Are Now SAN, Others Chartered Accountants. It's Not About The Many Wives. It's Failed Legacy. Abiola Failed At The Home Front. Folawiyo Eldest Son Is Same Age As Kola Abiola. Yet Look At How He Kept His Late Father's Legacy Business Empire Afloat And Flourishing. Folawiyo Had Many Wives
I disagree with you. Kola is the first son. He failed to manage the legacy and at the same time prevented others from judiciously managing it, even direct siblings. This is a case of either being extremely greedy or he is a sadist. Let him manage these companies and share proceeds with others.
Kola Abiola is a joke and a fatal disappointment. I will tell anyone that has hears, divide up your assets as you want in your will. Never abdicate that responsibility to another person. Yeah deal with the hard part of giving what you want to give out to whom you want when you are still of sound mind and alive.
Remember kola abiola is your junior brother father too not only you you selfish man you want to take everything it doesn't work like that so you telling if all of you father is alive today he will share every thing equal to all his children
That’s not true! Haven’t you see a man with one wife but due to the greedy nature and poor management of the children left behind and have similar problem. What of Arisekola Alaos, Folawiyo and few others who have 3-4 wives with many children and are doing fine
IBB was never the enemy in all of it, MKO knew that. It was your SW and northern chiefs/elites who were Abiola's antagonists. Do you know that around that time, IBB attended the wedding of one of Abiola's daughter and there was no eyebrows raised. The Abiola's son who was been interviewed knew all these. Nigerians should make effort to know about the history of their country.
It's All about "The Curse"...as it is with a plethora of Nigerian families. Simply ask yourselves, what is the life expectancy of generational wealth within..."once- upon-a-time" Nigerian rich families ???
Jamiu, there is no need for this unnecessary bad blood,if you have grievances, then head for the courts, stop wasting our data. Some of us who are older know the full story better and also I will advice , please employ diplomatic channels to get whatever, confrontation will not work.
Abiola made a mistake by allowing ONLY the first wife's children access to his properties. Other children would have done better with these properties.
Let this man remember that the businesses belong to mko Abiola & simbiatu your mother later came to the show years after the establishment of the businesses that's why papa ordered DNA for all of you with the exception of simbiatu children
It is totally wrong assumption. Verification of paternity can't exclude the particular wife as far as will is concerned. DNA could never exonerated anyone as far as will is concerned.
@@benjaminadeniji7213what he's saying is that, Sibiat Abiola is the real owner of the money, do you want Kola to give his mother's money to his father's children
The key question is whether MKO left a Will and who was appointed Administrator. And if there was proper documentation, as expected of a man of MKO's status, there shouldn't really be a dispute as to who gets what. But then again, anything can happen in naija! Besides, not every family wealth is sustainable for various reasons.
@@dorothyokereke2301 then that was most unfortunate! That is the root cause of the current friction! A man of means should have a clear Will in place most especially in a polygamous scenario!
No Don't Google It. Just Listen To One Of The Tracks Of Late Legendary Afrobeat Superstar Fela. Fela Has A Special Song Dedicated To Abiola. Listen And Enjoy.😂
I think Seun didn't help the guy and the family by the direction in which he patrerned the interview... of what purpose did all these questions intend to serve? Did Seun have any input on ground as to how a family matter of this magnitude will be resolved? In as much as I will share the sentiment of Abdulmumin in some areas, but Seun failed to ask the guy why did Kola's mother (Simbiat) warned Mko not to go into politics before she died in 1992? Did Seun ask him after the other wives visited Aso Rock and advised their husband to surrender his mandate and come home to take care of his family bcos the children were still young? Was it not Kudirat and other yorubas who advised him contrary bcos of their selfish interests? Where are all those people now? Did Seun ask the guy how Simbiat (Kola's mum) facilitated Abiola's wealth on which we are all talking about now? Am not saying Kola is blameless in all of these but personally I didn't see any logical reason why Seun is dragging the family into a public discourse through this Abdul 😢 Has he talked to Kola to hear him out also?
One of my favorite MKO'S children. You will have no choice than to like the ways and manners with which he speaks. For Kola who is 25 yeras older than him to ask if the guy want "Fire for fire" shows that the guy is brave and fearless like his father.
Kola Abiola is a prodigal son. I remember long time ago when he bought Suzuki jeep attending parties all over the places squandering the father's money. Bad example for a son, Kola Abiola is.
Promiscuity destroyed the ABIOLA clan, Sadly MKO my hero died prematurely, If he had not been cut down, he would have done the right things, I I weep for M🎉 I LOVE HIM EVEN IN THE GRAVE, IM IGBO BY THE WAY
Promiscuity? No you're wrong dear. I am from a monogamous home. Our eldest brother is sitting on our late parents' estate. He only dishes out peanuts to us from the wealth as he chooses. Evil and greed is found everywhere.
Hmmm!!!! Very sad. I’m not defending anyone based on my own little experience. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown oooo!!! These children were all “babies “ when their young rich papa died unexpectedly in government custody!!! To me the best WILL these children have is the education Abiola gave them. They just have to build on it ,use their father’s good works and popularity as a road pass to achieve greatness Some people have no rich parents and they are relevant in the society today. May God help them!!! I’m not condoling what Kola did with Babagida’s daughter. Love is very blind!!! Remember, ija lo de lorin dowe. These families were good friends We don’t even know whether this affair was a strategy to have freedom for Abiola himself. Allegedly, even Ologundudu had done worsening, or something similar to this during is lifetime. I have a simple similar situation at hand right now. 2nd child- a girl renovated her parents house because the parents were buried there. Prior, the eldest son started collecting rent from day one their mother passed without any discussion with the rest of the children. He refused to come to the final burial of both parents because his sister didn’t let him be the contractor to renovate the house 🤨🙄. This is a Muslim monogamy family!! I pray God will open doors for this young man. He should just go and get his life together with his own children. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Unfortunately, Kola Abiola is not Bashorun Abiola; unfortunately he will never be. Lessons for those marring rich married men !!! Whatever you get when they are alive is the Real WILL ooo
I have never liked Kola Abiola since i was little. Something about hin gives me reasons to suspect his values and trustworthiness. Decades later I an unfortunately proven right.
Always remember how did your father acquired all this property remember the military made your father and they also distroyed him .remember Chief Abiola sponsored the Babaginda to be president always remember your first enemy in life is your family and friends what goes round comes round.may Almighty Allah grant him Aljanat
Seeing his face, resemble MKO Abiola, your senior brother should do something about it now, why wasting time, share it among your siblings and step mother's, please, and extend it to the orphanage and less privileged people in Nigeria, with this, GOD will be Happy with you
Reason why politicians and the rich should take their immediate family members as priority. It is so unfortunate that the wealth and the name of MKO will just end like this.
You don’t call that affairs ❤ They both had good relationship with good intentions!!! It didn’t work doesn’t mean it was an affair!!! High time kola need to seek other billionaires to build abiola empire again
Kola needs to forget the past!!! The dead will never be happy seeing his legacy both property and children in bad shape ❤ Your brother mentioned Folawiyo’s empire borrow a leaf from such!!!
Seriously as an igbo man i love how this man talks 💯 a man shoud be 💪 strong and rugged in fighting for his right else u will be trampled upoon. But at thr end they are brothers so let thr anger not tear dem apart.
If I may ask did the late Abiola prepared kola to step into his shoes politically and otherwise. Kola came out seeking for a presidential ticket his numerous brothers and sisters never voted him, There's strength in number. Home is where the love is? The manner their father passed on in a jiffy there were much more than was not accomplished. Did the late man leave any blue print on how his legacy is to be managed. Am sure there were loans that the late father had hanging, those needs attention, also! Kola have his personal difficulties at the home front. This complaint have forgotten that Abiola have another elder daughter,Lola who is older than Kola a one time member of the house what's her efforts in the late father legacy. It's not late let this Abdul carry on where the late man stopped to realize their father,'s dream! That kola is the senior as a man is not enough for him to holistically achieve the father's Abiola's dream ,his father cannot totally become Kola's dream. Young Man stop complaining openly and do the needful. We wish you all the best.
Yet oil and gas not yet dry and finished but the community resources own by the people of that community is living in primitive and provety, well this is the beginning not only you and your family others too in that evil Nigeria will parttake what you and your family is getting now
So so sad that the legacy of one time richest man in yoruba land has been wasted. His children didn't do justice for the late chief m.k.o abiola after all he sacrificed.
Olowo to gba iyawo oba alade to wa lori ite nitori o ni ibasepo to danmaran pelu awon alase orile ede, oba adake dajo nbe lori ite loke orun o nwo ise eda
Hmmmm. Google Translate Couldn't Do Justice To What You Wrote... Only Those Versed In Yoruba Language Folklore Will Understand. Deep. Very Deep Words Of Admonition.
Wow. It's so sad to see what's happening. MKO had so much but he was always sleeping around. That's the kind of stuff that happens when a family is not united. His children can't come together. He has so many children in and outside marriage. It would have been great if they can unite and share things equally or set up a trust
@@blueresolve2954 it's very interesting he still did not write a will after been in prison for many years. But we will never know the complete story. I would assume for a man like him that he would have taken time to think about leaving copies of same will with several law firms o whatever will guarantee that all his assets are accounted for and shared properly. I think his late wife tried to take ownership and Barr those side chicks he had outside of marriage. Very unfortunate that some of his children are struggling according to this his son.
This guy is more intelligent than Kola. I feel Kola will not make a good politician because he lacks decorum and etiquette when engaging in interviews, Kola lacks confidence and talks like an individual who is not coordinated at all
Hmmm! For by the fact that someone can speak fluently is not high intellect or smartness.Research had revealed that 80 percent of highly intelligent people are not noise makers,so do not conclude with finality of thee character.
Where is delectable Barrister Victoria Tundun Abiola. I would love her to also grace this Podcast and share her own thoughts as regards the Abiola's Dynasty
Abiola stole from nigeria...And you believe he is RICH where did he get the money from..Better go and find your way...If anything happen to those properties só be it Is nigeria oeoples property ok
Is the host ignorant, or lazy the seek for knowledge. Abiola had a lot of properties and shares in Nigeria and the US, and maybe some other countries, they took practically everything Abiola owned, after he died, in fact, there were no records of his properties and shares after his death especially in the US. I heard that his family were somewhat restricted from conducting businesses in Nigeria then. Abiola was up against the Nigerian elites and US govt, and they took everything he owned.

@@ademolaabolaji9130 then how do you know if a host is uninformed, and allows misinformation because of this. A good host researches on people he interviews, and challenges them politely and with facts, if he thinks what they are saying or the premise is wrong.
