I bought a Miles E-board. I used to drive the car, or get on the Harley to go less than a mile to the store for snacks and shit, and I figured...why? With the Miles board, I can rip down there and back in less time than it took to find the keys, wait for traffic, stop at the 3 lights, than it takes to grab the board, controller, and go. Fuck traffic, fuck the lights, fuck $6 gas! The board will do 30mph, and a full charge can last 40 miles in range...if I don't ride it stupid :) My town went crazy with making bike lanes all over the place, which gives me a fast lane with no worries about people on the sidewalk. I can even get pneumatic off-road tires for the thing! Flat out shitload of fun. And, a 62 year old guy gets a LOT of stares as I go by

I've got a friend that owns an E-Bike shop. I rode a bunch of them, and there's this brand called Backou that makes E-Bikes meant to ride through the mountains for hunting. Big FAT tires. Looks cool AF. I loved their Scout model. If I had an extra $5500 lying around, I'd get one of those for sure.

Nice review -- you are correct this is a road bike! trying to get that electric motor to take you up those dirt trails it will fail everytime! if you are on roads in the city e-bikes are amazing! thanks for the video!

I also love that this bike has sdks where you can connect the display to your computer and add custom applications/parameters

I watch John Hicks on YT on that Surron, I never wanted an E bike until I saw him ride one lol

Always appreciate honesty! E-bikes for me do shine in city or village to village commuting etc. Never rode one or owned one myself. I just compare it to bicycles when I was younger. E-bikes will do the same but are just faster in getting you there. Stuff like the Surron are more trail worthy compared to this one, but they do have the height etc with them. I follow Brian's channel as well, as wel as Two Wheels And A Ponytail (TWAAP) who rides a Surron often and does off road with it and practice wheelies etc. She also seemed to enjoy it a lot, just like Brian does. In The Netherlands we have a company called Brekr and they make E-bikes as well. Kinda similar concept in comparison with that Geforce but look wise I like the Brekr better. A Dutch RU-vidr here nicknamed Meifesto rode one of them and they seemed to me like a lot of fun around town. he also enjoyed them. But if companies contact you with these, why not do so, if you feel like it at least. it's fun content, at least I think it is, useful as well, and who knows you might be surprised even. I do appreciate to have an honest review, and not like say this and this and get payed stuff, lol that's so lame, 😆 But I can understand it's necessary for smaller companies like that to grow bigger etc. But they do need to have faith in their product, no shait stuff and then let people do a good review for money. So a word for the manufactures: If it's crap work on it to make better. 😆

Hope you’ve got a backpack with a fire extinguisher in it! These e-bikes tend to go up like Roman Candles if the Lithium batteries are faulty. For the price you quoted I’d rather a buy a good second hand DR-200 or full suspension mountain bike any day. and I believe you can install a 5,000 to 10,000 watt motor and a 72 volt battery with a battery bag and controller bag on the frame where you can make it go as fast with a modded surron which would be 90 to 100 mph and changed the stock controller from the bike to be a more modified controller to handle the applications the modded surrons uses with this bike

Bro awesome review I'm defiantly down to watch the E-Bike and honest reviews . There should be 3-5 peddle assist modes for most E-Bikes 1-3 being the slowest and 4-5 is blasting with more torque and speed. Anything above 750watt to 1000 watt is great off-roading anything 250 -350 watt is good for flat street riding.

love it dude. i work on tons of bikes and have one that i want to put some nice forks and a big ass motor on, so far from my research for anything half decent to go up simple hills you want 1000+ watts and i guess even 1000 is on the low side. they get hella expensive for something reeeal nice

Nice job being honest. I ride around an escooter that probably goes up hill better. It is hard to find uses for e-bikes when we grew up riding dirt bikes.

It probably is good for people who live in big cities that have bike lanes and they need to get from their apartment to work or something. I can imagine something like this being great in Boston or New York, but it definitely isn't a surron.

I'm glad you give this thing it's credit for street riding because I'm sure it's great in those conditions. I kinda fancy one actually...

yea I fully agree Brian636 really got me wanting that Surron too. But I can't remember if he did the stage 2 or 3 upgrades on his or not. Because I don't feel his is stock anymore. But that price tag on those is steep. Anyways, keep up the great videos!

Sur-Rons are insane that dude from HPlogic has one that will go 90mph I think its still the fastest one not sure on that tho. Petal assist bikes are meant for mostly flat ground stuff like collage campuses n shit.

a 750watt motor should be stronger than that , does it need to be "unlocked " there should be different assist levels too . maybe look into that ..

When a dual sport is so much better in every category it is hard to find uses for e-bikes

and i believe you can replace the seat with a better, more comfortable seat as well

Those electric bikes usually have different pedal assist levels and different power levels in general. Also a lot of them are speed limited but theres a way to unlock it to get all the juice but idk how

Being a lectric xp and surron owner, the surron is an ebike on a whole different level. Just like you said, its basically an electric dirt bike. IF you ever get one, im sure you would enjoy the crap out of it on terrain like that. CHEEAH!!

I’ve never messed with an E bike yet. Been eyeing the LECTRIC 2.0 though supposedly good for light trails and street. You can fold it and put it in your car. 1k so not crazy expensive

and I think in my opinion this bike is better than a surron because of functionality wise in the display surrons don't have a lot of functionality in their displays which I hate

You can get this thing up to 40. They have settings you can change in the controller on the left.

I only own an ebike at this time. Anyone thinking about getting one. Heed my warning, avoid anything with a 750w motor. 1k should be the minimum. That thing is a rip at even 1.7k. Mine is a 1k w 52v ebike for 2.4k. also all the stock tires are crap, so after a tire swap it feels great.

How is an ebike with a 750w motor struggling with those slight inclines, in Europe ebikes are limited to 250w and i've never had my ebike struggle this much on inclines and hills lol. There is definitely something wrong with this. Love you honest review though! Respect.

on an e-bike with pedals, having geometry similar to a regular bike goes a long way. bikes like these are just for cruising casually, not putting real distance down or going on trails

If you ever want to try out a slightly modded 750W Himiway Zebra, let me know. I go up mansion hilltop with it and sometimes to the trails in Loma Linda and use it as my daily drive to Cal State on throttle only. Most bike lanes in San Bernarghetto suck tbh

Sounds like you either got a dud or the settings need to be adjusted. Check for different class modes in the manual as by default it's probably only going to be default to slower speeds.

These are for old people and laid back lazy wealthy beach kids. This appears to lean more to the Kmart end of e-bikes. I’m 51 and am nowhere near ready to trading in any of my bicycles or motorcycle for any e-bike. I do feel like a poor person when I ride at the beach now in O.C. on my normal bicycle as these China mass produced e-bikes are sadly the norm on the coast. These things just ain’t my gig especially this one. I think they’re a great option for the elderly but I’m not there yet and don’t want to be. To each their own.
